Great trailer which tows well and is in decent condition The brakes work perfect and so does the damper, the right rear brake has had the brake lead snipped as the wheel was seized but don't notice it at all It will need a new jockey wheel and light bar which I can supply if needed I towed this 40 miles last week and it was perfect Open to sensible offers! Can also deliver free within 50 miles. Anywhere over is £1/mile Any questions please ask Cash on collection!

  5. Would it most likely be the XYZ switch then?
  6. Yeh I can't really tell, it's old oil I think. Black like
  7. Is it most likely to be the xyz switch then? Thanks for all the help chaps. I haven't got a clue so much appreciated
  8. Yeh I must be blind but I've had a good look under and found a nice little leak just above ish the gearbox It's a completely stock disco 2 (for now) I haven't thought of the xyz switch or the transfer cable so thanks for those shouts I will let you know tomorrow if the dash screen changes when I select gears
  9. Anyone got any ideas? Doesn't engage gears and won't move forward or backwards 2003 automatic disco I have checked it hasnt slipped out of hi What could this be? And how much to repair?
  10. Yeh I did it two years ago to see for myself and that's what I do now for my own use and towards September/October I put a tarpaulin over it
  11. Check out the Beckside Machinery splitters - used and abused mine for a year and a bit and it's solid - comes ready made too!
  12. Yeh okay thanks for everyone's help - think I'll keep it and use it for what I got it for
  13. I paid £975 for this on 155k miles - might just use it for now and see what happens
  14. Probably a stupid one but I've brought a 2003 Disco ES model that's in fairly good nick and it's just going to be a towing/occasional use car Just wondered, are they appreciating in price or not otherwise I was thinking of dry storing it but not as it could just be a waste of time
  15. Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to have a recon tourqe converter fitted on my disco? Or any help as to why it doesn't drive... Doesn't move and when you put it into park it makes a scraping sound. The gearbox is topped up but I need help! Sorry I'm not very clued up on this and very inexperienced
