  1. I'm not a fan of doing more and more work to increase income. You are much better off finding ways to charge more for the amount of work you currently do. There is a trend among small business owners to judge success on the amount of staff you have. Usually, nothing could be further from the truth. I'd rather sit on my own at the computer for a couple of hours a day than spend 12 to 14 hours a day chasing jobs and staff.

  2. As above, automate what you can, and pay someone to do the stuff that will free up your time. You don't necessarily need to find someone to do the donkey work, you can find people to do more of the admin based stuff too. If you are in a rural area a lot of your promotional marketing could be done by someone else, leaving you to simply arrange to do the work.

You'd think whoever makes these things, would at least check their English before unleashing their 'jokes' onto the internet.

Is that offer extended to all :D

And your right. It's about targeting the right people but so hard how to work out who that is.

Once of a day I thought council work would be good. I've been there and still do some. It's not all it's cracked up to be and certainly not wack big prices in as they will take it.

I wouldn't say extended to all (there are some right knob-heads on here😁). I'm happy to answer any strategic marketing questions though.

Just a quick note on grammar. I believe the correct plural of "c•ck up" should in fact be "c•cks up", and not "c•ck ups", as the standard in English is to pluralise only the noun part of the phrase, in the same manner as "courts martial", "mothers-in-law", or "passers-by ".

    That is all.

Nope. Your grammar lesson has been a cock up.

Chainsaws running full chat for hours on end isn’t a pleasant noise.

Completely agree. Milling with a chainsaw isn't really something to do In a domestic garden on a regular basis.
