  1. We have ran that bar and chain on our 500i and it has ran fine we just took our time with the cut. Not sure we wpuld do it all the time.
  2. We have protos ones and they are amazing and work really well very happy with them
  3. Never thought about that dumper good advice
  4. Well hopefully will find the right machine 😂😂
  5. Exactly and if it saves people’s backs and means they don’t have to lift silly sized logs it means they are more productive through the week as they not so knackered
  6. Which do ypu run?
  7. I’m looking at the 5 series in both machines but if go for a Vermeer will go for the bigger multi one or avant that’s why looking at all options right now as think a skidsteer on site for small jobs and avant for yard and bigger jobs so can cover rather more
  8. That’s brilliant but like you say is it essential. Love the bollard on the head for speed lining and pulling trees over
  9. Yes but how much of a hardship would it be to do it manually after the time it saves moving big logs
  10. They don’t do a hydraulic grapple anyone found it a problem being manual
  11. Apparently it should be here start of the year with a ce mark so we will see
  12. Any suggestions?
  13. Can’t seem to find the warranty on the cormidi either as the Vermeer is 3 years or 3,000 hours I will compare all the machines that are the same size and lift the same.
  14. £25,000 + vat fpr vermeer think the cormiddi is around £14,000 but don’t think it lifts the same weight and I’m not convinced on the build quality
  15. Will get a demo and see but the vermeer is ticking all Boxes so far and everyone who has one hasn’t got a bad word to say about them and they seem to hold there value very very well
  16. We use chest harness from tree Austria on treemotion works well for our lads but will be buying a rope runner pro as the chicane is rather long and hard to fold it up to descend easily
  17. Where are cormidi made?
  18. They are very tough and we haven’t had any problems with-ours but the lads are good with the kit as they know how expensive they are and we only put them on when working road side or on big take downs or noisy sensitive jobs
  19. Because i want it to be able to get i to gardens so we can use it more on site and then look at an avant for the yard further down the line. Have arranged a demo for avant and vermeer and see where i get with it
  20. Thank u
  21. Only concern with avant is that it won’t fit down most garden gates and a big machine to try get in
  22. Thank u
  23. Anyone have contact details for the sale please?
  24. Looks good we don’t have tree bay sadly as very interested in it
  25. Thanks just a bit concerned about built Quality dont want to be replacing it 2 years down the line cos its fallen to pieces [emoji23][emoji23]
