This is the one I use. Reliable, 0.5 refresh rate and you don’t really need the wire. I picked one up on eBay a while back for £30. Worth a look.

yes it sure is. they adapt very well to the port work. i've PMd you.

dont know about that, theres a lot of power to be gained out a 261 thats ported and machined properly.

If it was me I’d run a ported 550 or 261. I think the 462s a pretty light saw for it’s size so if you want something considerably lighter and more nimble then the 50cc class is the way to go. either that or fix the 560. It’ll cost you less. It’s probably got a crank seal leak. When it had the new top end was it pressure / vac tested?

Sorry, just saw this. They’re brazed. It’s a cleaner finish on thin metal.

Probably. I just hope that someone buying a 500i that has no choke wonders why there’s has a choke 😂

i can supply one if you like. I have aftermarket market ones i can mod so no baffle and can make it dual port. They are £79 plus shipping. it wont be until november though.

I dont think there are any fake 500is about. fakers dont have the technology for the fuel injection i wouldnt think. Just email stihl the serial number and they'll tell you its origin.
