  1. If turning the tap through 90 degrees makes no difference then I doubt it's the solenoid valve at fault. Take off the pressure hose from the pump at the feedroller control valve and put this into a bucket , run the engine and check the flow of oil into the bucket ? It should be a good continuous flow , free of air ? The pressure hose is the smaller of the two hoses at the pump.

  3. The pump is driven via a coupling off the end of the flywheel shaft. Does the coupling look complete ? Is there enough hydraulic oil in the tank ? Is the hydraulic oil clean or does it look contaminated ? I would check the fittings are tight on the pump in case it's sucking in air ?
  4. What happens when you override the No-Stress by turning the tap by the No-stress solenoid valve through 90 degrees ? Do the feedrollers then operate in forwards and reverse on the red bar ?

  16. It looks like a 'Bib' valve to me in which case the spool needs to be slid out and there is an 'o' ring either end in a machined groove in the housing.

  20. I believe a lot of these axles are built to spec for the manufacturers hence they can't always be purchased direct ?
