  1. Hi there we are based in south wales pontypool and we are looking for training for 2 men on basic chainsaw cross cutting. We run a sawmill and cut logs to size that are clamped up on our loader and maybe do about 10 cuts a day . was wondering if there is a basic course for cutting the logs both men have full chainsaw ppe and have been using chainsaws i was just wondering if there was a basic course or training out there for them thanks for the help

Hi there guys im looking to sell my hm130 sawmill and trailer for £4000 including vat ive had it a year and have replaced all the belts And bearings recently it comes on a fully galvanised trailer that has been built from the drawings off the woodland mills website. If anyone is interested message me please. There is nothing wrong with it im just selling as i am upgrading to the new model and trailer. More than welcome to come and have a look

  7. I have a kiln and I don't get any rhi repayments from it and I burn all my crap off cuts from our workshop and scabs from our sawmill. We also take a lot of poplar and conifer arb waste which also goes on it. Along side my milled timber we dry logs. The benefit of the kiln is that you can put green split logs in there and bring them down to 20% within 10 days and if we leave them in longer say another 2 weeks they come down to below 5% .so I would say having a kiln is a benefit because I can do all these geeky moisture meter tests within a month whereas people with out kilns has to wait til the end of the summer to argue whether having a kiln is worth it. And if customers are happy to pay twice as much for kiln dried logs then that's awesome aswell

Hi there a customer has contacted me asking if I knew anyone was interested in buying his hm126 sawmill plus track extension and a log top lift It is still in the warranty and he says is in excellent condition. The reason for selling is that he wants to upgrade to our larger hm130 mill He wants £2500 no vat and it's in Taunton if anyone is interest please message me As soon as he emails me picture I will upload
  12. Yes sorry I did miss that There is no suspension on the wheels and all the photos and video is on the website with full manual and specs aswell
  13. Our processor has a 2 year warranty and a 3 year engine warranty with Kohler Full support from woodland mills as a company and from myself. I've been running mine solid for a few months lately and have really been hammering it. It has a 12 ton ram compared to the 10ton the lumag has The price includes free delivery to your property
