  1. Rovers, I figured it probably was, but having expanded this year and only bought tree surgery offcuts in small amounts prior to the first lorry load, I didn't have anywhere else to compare. That was Scotts, who ended up being the cheapest, the hardwood has sold well in fairness but I had my doubts when it came as a lot didn't need splitting, but clients have lapped up the round logs, and I sold a load to a wedding party as decorative logs too. Euroforest quoted even more per lorry load and the third quote was from county durham which was higher again. Any tips for suppliers gratefully received, pm me or just put it on here. I'll take all the advice going.
  2. £1600 plus vat in Northumberland. £900 plus vat for softwood. Probably less if you're bigger than us and can buy more.
  3. Hardwood £3000, softwood £2250 or more than those figures. Below that I shouldn't bother with the hassle, make more money on smaller deliveries.
  4. Fits and starts so far, roll on Jack Frost.
  5. :laola:40 cu metres for eighty five quid? Cheap as broken chips that is.
  6. Bulk Pack Ltd Tel 01384 444571 Fax 0845 8621688 Web Bulk Pack Ltd - For all your FIBC's Bulk Bags £3.60 each exc delivery
  7. Ask somebody local to you with a hydraulic splitter and tractor to give you a day of their time, generally they charge by the hour so be nice!
  8. Trees down, all humans upright, no buildings felled, no criticism required. Great video.
  9. Is a standard builder's FIBC (don't ask me what the xxxx it stands for!) bag not 900 x900 x900? Ie 0.72 cubic metre.
  10. If you will, I'd like 50 too. Can collect, you're about an hour away.
