  1. I also have the 22t venom. I rate it highly in that it sips petrol, can be used horizontally or upright, and i have never yet found anything it could not get through. Mine has the earlier type of suspension units, and although I have towed it on the road in the past it is a bit lop sided for road use now. I note the newer ones have different suspension.
  2. Morning all, Frost and blue sky here. Couple of small conifers to fell this morning. Difficult access so taking the Jo-Beau. Then dentist this afternoon. The weekend gets nearer.
  3. Morning all, No frost here, sunshine hopefully. Small maple repeat pollard then home.
  4. Neither of the people either side of it wanted their fences damaging, so it would have had to be felled higher than I can reach from a ditch. Didn't fancy being tied in with spikes and a strop, as it had significant die back. Also we left the trunk standing at the level of the main crotch for nature to nibble away at.
  5. Morning all, Conifer felling today. Will try to get as much done as possible before the rain moves in.
  6. Morning all, Frost here. Grinding lots of small holly stumps today. Stay warm.
  7. What have you got?
  8. Morning all, Week ahead looking sunny and cold. Much better than muggy and grey. Happy Sunday.
  9. Morning all, Calm now after very windy night. Doing a quote Doing a quote then putting the home made stump grinder on the minidigger ready for Monday. Have a good weekend.
  10. Morning all, Throwing it down here, but I don't do Fridays on site anyway. Bit of office work then domestic bliss. The mewp was a joy to use yesterday now it is behaving itself. I chose to put oversize pads under the outriggers as the ground was pretty soft. Hope your day goes ok in this weather.
  11. You guys make me look so inadequate. This is the best I can offer up at present. Ash with die back just along my lane. Started 08:30, finished 4 hours later. No chipping, nothing to remove. Blue sky and sunshine, working in short sleeves. WhatsApp Video 2025-11-13 at 11.25.57.mp4 WhatsApp Video 2025-11-13 at 12.15.12.mp4
  12. Morning all, Sunshine and 14 degrees forecast. Dismantling ash with die back between a field and a garden paddock. Using mewp and little Bob to move the timber. Leaving it all on site, no chipping. Stay safe.
  13. Morning all, Grey a d drizzly here. Annual laurel hedge trim this morning then load up mewp and bobcat ready for tomorrow. Have a good day all.
  14. Morning all, Looking like a wet one here. Taking the day off to rest my (real not metal) knee. Hope all goes well Pete.
  15. Morning all, Other way round for the weather here. Dry and sunny this morning, rain this afternoon. Heavy rain tomorrow. Minor climbing this morning then felling hollies around the edge of a copse where they are invading the field. Have a good week.
  16. Morning all, Breakfast, crossword, walk dog, then laze around. Happy Sunday
  17. Morning all, Grey but dry here. Walk the dog while wife goes running, fit non LED lights to road tow chipper to keep silly Iveco electrics happy, then recce ground conditions for Monday, job. It seems not long ago the ground was rock hard with parched grass, and now on verge of needing to put boards down on lawns. Have a good weekend.
  18. Morning all, Friday off as usual here. Day with She Who Must Be Obeyed, AKA Shwhombo.
  19. PS: Forecast here is 16 degrees
  20. Morning all, Taking Iveco in to get trailer electrics sorted then hedge cutting. I remember just over 30 years ago washing my Land Rover in early November and the water freezing before it could run off the bodywork.
  21. Morning all, Drizzle just now but 15 degrees and sunny forecast. Crazy. Side pruning some conifers today.
  22. Morning all, Was silly mild here yesterday too, 14 degrees. Rain off and on today, finishing one of the regular annual laurel holly conifer trims today.
  23. Morning all, Weather looking ok for early part of the week. MEWP dismantle of tall thin dead sycamore today. Late start to let traffic die down first. It overhangs the pavement. Have a good week.
  24. Morning all, Travelling to childhood friend’s for lunch. Known each other 62 years now. Happy Sunday
  25. Morning all, Early drizzle should clear then small job just up my lane. Dismantle small spruce between BT lines then small conifer next to it. Have a good weekend.
