  1. Haha! Cheers John. I gave the old Golf a proper good clean last night, or I might have taken you up on that offer!
  2. As title says, wood chip wanted in Barnard Castle. After a van load of decent chip (no green if possible) for my other halfs parents. Would ideally like to pay nowt, but happy to contribute a small amount towards brew and biscuit fund! Message me on here or call or text 07772655759 Thanks.
  3. Bump. Looking to fill up Friday (1st of July) if anyone needs assistance. Thanks.
  4. Hello, I'm looking to fill the first bit of next week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm an experienced groundie with CS30/31, got my own saw and PPE. There are a few members who use the forum who can vouch for me (hopefully ) if required. I'm hard working, time diligent, fetch my own bait and love a good days graft. Can turn my hand to strimming, mowing, hedge cutting etc. Also experienced dry stone waller as well. Please call me on 07772655759 if you think you might have some work. I'm based near Richmond in North Yorkshire, but can also do work in Northern and Central Cumbria as my folks have a farm in Keswick. I look forward to hearing from someone hopefully. Thanks, Mike
  5. I've had mine for just over two years, and I'm having exactly the same issues others have had. 3 brake bands, 1 clutch spring, both AV's gone (in last month), of which front one broke again the day after the new one was fitted! Pain to start, cuts out randomly etc. It hasn't had an easy life, and I did treat it to a Sugi bar, but I don't think I'll get another one.
  6. I started out with Stihl clip on's. They didn't last particularly well in my opinion, one of the clip mechanisms broke and I ended up hooking the remaining part onto a belt loop. I have now got Husky button on's. And so far I'm not overly impressed with them either! They don't seem to stay in the desired position, so basically they slacken off and my kegs start heading south which isn't ideal
  7. I'd estimate that video to be worth two packets of oatcakes, six roll ups and seventeen reduced price Morrisons pasties
  8. I've made a boob! My mobile number is typed incorrectly above, what a clown. Please call me on 07772655759, thanks.
  9. Bump! Spent the last few days helping my Mrs move to Melsonby, just what you need with Christmas looming. Now that's out the way, it's time to find some work for me. Anyone looking for help, please do get in touch via contact details above. Thanks, Mike
  10. Hello, My good lady has got herself a new job in Newton Ayecliffe, so we are both relocating to the area in January. I am currently self employed, with my work being spread between the Lake District (home for me) and West Yorkshire (home for my better half). I am a friendly, hard working fella, with good experience under my belt. I have my cross cutting, maintenance and felling trees up to 380mm tickets. I would be quite happy to send my CV with further detail on to anyone who might be interested. I am from a farming back ground, adaptable and level headed. I am more than happy operating on a self employed basis, but if someone wants to employ me full time, £50,000 a year, Hi-lux company vehicle, 30 days paid holiday etc etc than that's fine! On a serious note, I am quick to adapt to a new working environment, easy to work with and chat to at bait time, physically fit and healthy (non smoker) and plan to stay put in the area I'm looking at for years to come. My number is 0777 265 579 email [email protected] Thanks for looking.
  11. Do you mean the vario track? Have you checked hydraulic fluid? Leak or blockage perhaps?
  12. Sorry if I didn't make it clear. I'm after second hand if possible, have all ready spoken to a few local dealers and bawked at price. I figured with the 550 being a popular machine, that spares might be easy to come by, I fear I may well be wrong.
  13. Bump! Surely there must be someone out there who can help?! Please!
  14. Hello all, Due to a minor incident involving a tracked chipper and a chainsaw, I'm now looking for a chain brake handle and side casing for a Husqvarna 550xp. I wondered if anyone in the Arbtalk community might have some spares they were willing to sell? I am based in the Lake District and also spend time in West Yorkshire so could meet anyone if they could help. Otherwise I'd be happy to pay shipping costs. Please contact me on 07772655759 if you can help. Many thanks in advance.
  15. Hello. I am trying to fill my day next Tuesday, the 29th. I am an experienced groundie with CS30/31 and own PPE, saw and transport. I am based in Haworth but willing to travel up to 45 mins if needs be. Please contact me on 07772655759 if you need any help at all. If I don't hear from anyone I'll simply have to go out bouldering for the day! Woe is me! Thanks, Mike
  16. Hello all, first time post here! I'm looking for work in the Bradford area, I currently live in the Lakes but I'm relocating to Haworth to be with my other half. I am currently a self employed groundie, with CS30/31. I have two and half years experience working with the same team. Have my own saw and PPE etc. I have emailed enquiries to a lot of firms but thought I'd post on here too. Thanks in advance.
