  1. Are there just the two of you out there cutting? Well done for doing a worthy cause.
  2. Hello, planting them is not such a problem, although if there is a deep matt of vegetation digging a slot in might be a tiring job! The species you are thinking of are pretty inviting to hares and roe ,are there any about the area? Willow cuttings are usually easy to establish, what is your long term view/plan of the area?

    Moto GP

Great start to the season,I hope it continues to be that close. I reckon Dovizioso will be one to watch this year.
  4. I ordered a new bar and chain from chainsawbars.co.uk and received them the next day. Great service and thoroughly recommended as it is so easy to match the different choices of bar and chain for a particular saw from the easy to use drop down menu. The site owner is possibly on here I don't know, and if the recommendation is out of place I make no apologies for the free publicity and heads up. cheers dreish
  5. I found the bigger leylandii a bugger to get out ,Took a row out a few years ago using a manitou telehandler and it took a fair bit of rocking back and forth before it was fit to lift them out. I had left the stump/cut about 6ft high to get decent leverage. Is it possible to get a machine/tractor/digger to them?

    Oak

Who is it best to contact regarding buying/felling Oak trees'.Approx 40. These are mature although some are not looking their best. Also a stand of Larch. Big mature trees that have been thinned a few years ago. Not sure of the volume to come out. This would be a clear fell as they are starting to blow. Angus area Scotland. thanks
