  8. The walk to knock the customers door and then having to wait for clients to move their cars off the driveway first thing in a morning so you can get on. Annoying and a crap daily chore!
  9. Hi have a client interested in a carving from a larch stump. Does anyone know any good carvers in the west Midlands area and their number please
  10. I understand what you are saying but I'm certainly not expecting work just to fall into my lap. I've paid out for a website, I've paid to keep my gumtree ad to the top of the search, have a Facebook page so am trying to get my name out there. If I'm honest my initial post was clearly out of frustration. I need to work out other ways to bring in money until the work picks up Well it sounds like you made some positive steps forwards, I suggest you call every tree surgeon in your local area and offer your services as a subbie to create some cash flow and keep the business afloat. Build your business around this and try and build client list till you can knock the subbie work on the head. This will take years tho and will require a lot of hard work and determination!
  11. Apologies if I'm being negative but I've lived and breathed tree work for 17 years and had my own business for nearly ten. I find it abit annoying that someone 6months in expects work to literally fall in his lap. You need to work on a better business plan to succeed. Hopefully I've put some fire in your belly by saying you won't succeed!!
  12. If your willing to give up so early on, I'm afraid your not going to make it a successful business venture. I struggled for about 6years to make my business into a full time thing.. Subbed did part time stuff.. If you haven't got the metal, give up and get a full time job at glendale
  13. Sounds like you've already got your start up plan sorted, I did something very similar to what your talking about. Took a bit longer than 2years to be able to be established enough to provide full time employment. Sub till you get there.now you need to stop talking and grab ya balls and go for it. Good luck, you'll need some determination and hard work to succeed
  14. Robbie Williams, can't stand him.he seems like a proper self absorbed douche bag with very little talent and sh#t vocal ability.lol
  15. It's oak left over from last year wish I had more... Yes I've hijacked alot of space much to the wife's dismay!got about two tonne left!toasty....
