  1. Treehog do a pair of boots for just over a hundred. But ive never worn them so i couldnt tell you anything about them.

  3. There is an app called vtree that uses gps to work out what trees are in your location. Im not sure if it works in Oz but it might be worth a try!
  4. Thats pretty much my thinking! The only way im gonna get to climb is if i put the work in on the ground. Literally cannot wait to get started!

  8. Go to http://www.youtrack.com its cheap and i think they do trackers for items as small as a mobile phone. We use them for all the vans at work and have never had any issues

  10. Thanks. Thats good to know, im fine with cross cutting and most maintainence stuff but ive never felled a tree in my life haha.

  14. Itll be being used for about 4 to 5 hours daily for the moment. My main thoughts where that i did not want to buy a saw and then have to spend alot of time having it repaired.
  15. I need it for felling and cross cutting. So far ive been using my ms181 for the small stuff and borrowing a work mates ms291 for the larger stuff, i just cant keep borrowing his saw forever.
  16. There arent any echo dealers around me. So i'd decided against an echo.
  17. What difference does importing one make?
  18. Needed to buy a larger saw, been using an ms181 up until now. Thinking either stihl ms362C-M or husky 560xp. Ive heard good things about both. Unsure which is the better option?

  22. Ive started practising tying a prussic, ive got a knot guide on my phone so ill have a look at the blakes hitch as well
  23. Ive watched a couple of his videos already and theyve been really interesting im just trying to filter out all of the more advanced stuff and go for the real basics to begin with.
  24. I was gonna go to bicton college to do it. Course and assesment is all done at the same place and all payed for in one go! Seemed like the easiet option.
