Split it, burn it, don't worry about it

That's definitely what we would call a category A tree burning off

As I know you wick, I have to say, you sound more Irish when you write than when you talk
-
Blimey, it's like the tv ad, everything you touch turns to skittles
Have you got a copy lathe?

Of course, we will expect another "my new groundie" thread with pics
Only kidding Good for you Rachel, you sound like you have a great work ethic and a good attitude to life. You will go far and achieve all you need.

That's ridiculous. Surely Arb/Forestry is the most manly occupation? There's no way in the world a woman could do it.
Not poking a snake with a stick by any chance

Sold both these last year. Had the zx for 4/5 years and had gone through it and given it a light resto. Bought the fazer 1000 as a replacement, but sold it after 4 months because I didn't find it comfortable over long distance. Shame, because they are an awesome bike. Oh, and yes I do regret selling the zx.
Just been offered a cagiva elephant 900 which might tempt me back in the saddle.

Probably would have hot drinks in. I did wonder if an exterior yacht varnish would be any good, but would prefer a more natural finish.

I'm wanting to turn a wooden mug/cup and was wondering if melted paraffin wax was the best thing to seal it with. Any ideas guys?

Does anyone know what companies clear the power lines in the Norfolk area please.

Be worth checking the clutch springs. Almost sounds like something is grabbing when the brake is on.

Haven't logged on for a while and I'm beginning to see why - hairy-assed tree workers discussing the colour of a dress. Is this 'Arbtalk' or 'Mumsnet'?
Lime green and orange, btw.
Yeah, and who has just logged on to reply to a thread titled "The dress"
Oh, and my ass ain't hairy, I wax it

Bunch of whingers. They need to be dropped into a jungle and forgotten about.

Can a shattered tree branch that is still attached to the tree, (oak), that is spanning both lanes of a road, not an A or B road, and hung up in branches of opposing trees, be dealt with on the spot without informing highways etc? Can this be treated as a high risk scenario and just be done with a couple of skilled climbers on site and enough decent, road aware ground crew? All hypothetical of course:thumbup1:
