  1. IVECOKID I have used one and they are thinner than the standard available sleeves and I found it wanted to bunch up towards the wrist with the arm movements.
  2. https://youtu.be/Wq-6WxhAcKU here is another one for you.
  3. Thank you very much Mountain man, the wedges are from the hardware store (major chain) and are used by framers to either temporary align frames/doors etc when nailing up or are permanently nailed into frames to correct minor stuff. really cheap buy them by the box of a hundred breaks down to like 25 AU cents a wedge and are rated up to two ton with a variety of sizes and lengths available.
  4. check out bixlers latest vid called XRR4life on the youtube channel bixvid for a great example of blocking down large pieces on the double beast x-ring set up.

  8. Dan most company ad's around here are looking for a climber with a minimum of two years full time climbing (not hand held being advised on jobs but calling all the shots) with large rigging experience, a truck licence minimum MR rigid some stump grinding is good too. with less time served you could apply to the larger companies who would have a broader range of positions but the smaller companies are not so flexible. having already worked over here should be a good starting point for your cause, good luck. Ben.

thankyou Ben, yeh drier here by about 25%. well I resisted describing it as big I have seen much bigger sugars in SA than that particular tree but I did think large was a fair call 4.1 mtrs around at 1 mtr and 35 mtr high is a reasonable sized tree but it did only take two days so yeh not a big tree removal. cheers Ben.
  14. I don't know you Sean but after seeing the X-rays and reading your story I would like you to know I feel for you. the X-rays left me at a loss for words and I had to rethink my bravado in the face of such strong images. I was gifted with a 5 week stint in a public hospital many years ago after surviving total liver failure after a botched gall bladder removal and outside food did make a difference in my stay.( and received those suppositories and catheters and nasogastric tubes with nurses cold hands on my shrivelled bits ) still small compared to your journey, I can only begin to grasp what lies ahead. please accept my positive thoughts to your recovery. Ben.
  15. Nathan is here in Adelaide and whilst not working with me I know his Boss and the company he works for plus some of the workers at the company. He is being expected to do production work and on some decent size trees. I have not heard anything negative about him or his work over here. Ben.
  16. thank you very much sir.
  17. thankyou Jesse, it is a inverse proportion of time it seems the more simple but smooth I try to make them the more time needed to get the editing right , when it is all effects and trickery the time spent on editing is actually less. is great to know someone appreciates the hours going into these projects, even better when it is coming from a person whose vids I like. cheers Ben.
  18. Thankyou Graygit, the bark will shatter and strip under heavy loading is slippery but great for spiking not so much fun doing spurless pruning when getting right out to the lateral ends though.
