  1. yep same do it yourself, just plan it well so you don't work every weekend. Personally I want to switch from, trees to stumps only as a retirement plan
  2. To be honest when I work out of area (not often) I add the cost of all to the quote and make sure I eat like a king if I win the job!
  3. Judt trend again also increasing the distance, nothing
  4. Thanks guys, well I am putting in the post code, pressing the search button, but nothing happens? Pretty sure I am not seeing drop down powered by Google box under the postcode?
  5. Hi, Anyone no of any tips sites in the Waltham cross (EN87RD) area. I have looked on the waste site on here but can't seem to make it work! Thanks
  6. Ok thanks I will do that once I have found 1!
  7. Does anyone run of these machines currently, if so what are your thoughts?
  8. I have noticed lots of dying Euc's in my area also. I will say though that they all had recently been reduced (too much) in my opinion. Not bitter or anything! Also I always had the view that whatever the reduction they come back, not so sure now.
  9. Why are you doing the leg work here, I am sure you are busy with your day job. Surely if you customer wants this work done they should be dealing with it? My experience has taught me not to go down this route. If the customer is really wanting the works they will gather the info (for you to confirm) in the end. Anyway I wish you luck with it.
  10. I think the issue is in this industry that employer and employees seem to be more like friends (not like in other jobs in my experience) other than the traditional approach to the work place.. This leads to some of the issues highlighted if not managed well (blurred lines).
  11. Spend your time in more important areas of your business I would say, gotta be bigger issues to solve? If not congrats, you have made it!
  12. Basically get in contact with various companies and see how it goes, learn and don't over plan. Basically if it's just weekend work for now then its zero risk on your part.
