  1. Tbh, this attitude that farmers are hard done by really grates with me. A fairly typical farm will be worth a couple of million. Yet they get subsidies as well and don't pay rates etc. Maybe if farmers can't make a go of their business they should SELL THE FARM AND MOVE TO SPAIN WITH THE MILLIONS AND STOP WHINING!
  2. So how do subsidies work in practice? The government taxes people and gives the money to farmers so they can grow more food? Why not just let the population keep their money so they have more money to buy food... Anyway, I honestly think the price of food should go up... There are far too many lard arses about. Higher food prices would make the population healthier. No one is saying we should get rid of all farming... Maybe just get rid of the farms that really shouldn't be farming ie sheep farms. I'd imagine it's the huge US style farms that produce food the cheapest... What do you want? Cheap food or the continuation of small farms....
  3. @Commando The UK economy is worth about £2,000,000,000,000 a year. So farming's contribution of £8,400,000,000 is fairly tiny.... Farmers get direct subsidies of £3 billion a year. They also get indirect subsidies such as not having to pay rates on their property. What does society get in return? A couple of hundred thousand poorly paid jobs? Realistically, subsidies for sheep farming in the highlands of the UK is economic lunacy. Get rid of the subsidies and sheep and get some nice forestry instead. Then arable farmers - with farms worth millions - get subsidies from the taxpayer?
  4. Do you not think the farmer gets enough in Government subsidies already? They already get billions.... They shouldn't get more to vaccinate cattle against TB... As an industry farming provides relatively few jobs that pay absolute rubbish money. Farming's contribution to the economy is minuscule yet they still get billions in subsidies.... Tree surgeons don't earn much money. What the government should do is give each tree surgeon a new saw, L200 truck, chipper and a mog.
  5. Some totally rad(ical) posts here! I've got my Sony Walkman on laughing at them!
  6. ....You remember when the Mini was actually a small car. ....You remember fiddling with a choke on a car on cold mornings. ....You remember buying a porno mag in the shops. ....You wanted Jimmy "to fix it for you". .....You expected jetliners to crash as soon as the clock hit midnight on NYE 1999 .... You remember when you thought Tony Blair was ok. Anymore?
  7. The thing is Mark, the right wing have been warning about the dangers of importing violent cultures into Europe for decades now. However antifa thugs shouted them down and called them "racist". After countless terrorist attacks in Europe it's now obvious to everyone that the right wing should have been listened to.... To be frank with you Mark, I think anyone that shouted "racist" to shut an argument down has got blood on their hands. I think in 50 years time historians will look at this period of history and be absolutedly astounded that politicians invited the third world into Europe. In the same way that we marvel at how normal Germans went on a genocidal rampage in the 1940's.
  8. The thing is Mark, you antifa types are generally the fascists... Just because you label yourselves "anti fascist" doesn't mean you're not facists... It's no wonder the Western world is lurching to the right...
  9. Any brit that has fought with IS shouldn't be allowed back into the UK... Skin colour doesn't come into it...
  10. Mark, I just wish that Brits that have come back from fighting with IS were charged and sent to prison. It's disgusting that people that have been killing Christians and Yazidis and buying sex slaves can just sneak back into the country and nothing is done. If you go to a takeaway or corner shop you don't know what the guy behind the till is really like....
  11. 100% Anyone that goes to fight IS deserves respect.
  12. Tbh, anyone that goes to fight IS is a good guy Imho... It's the resident left wing lunatic that seems to think charging people that fought IS is a good thing....
  13. I bet in WW2 some of the members here would have been cheering if they saw a Spitfire get shot down.
  14. For anyone that can't be bothered to open Mark's link it's about an ex soldier that is facing charges for fighting AGAINST IS.... Thanks Mark for posting evidence that SUPPORTS my argument. It's really not good that the justice system goes after white people while ignoring brown people that have committed worse crimes.
  15. Yeah, nice one Mark! Would it not be nice if the justice system also charged Brits that have come back from fighting with IS? As it is the justice system appears to go after white people while other people literally get away with murder.
  16. The Italians had a general election. A third of the electorate voted for an anti EU party. Another third voted for an anti migrant party. I assume the remaining third are morons? Well done Italy! Don't listen to the BBC sneering at people voting for "populist" parties!
  17. Why not ask if your haulage contractor has a "hiab lorry"? Could you temporarily remove a section of fence?
  18. I'd imagine it will be a real relief to them finding such a good website. You'd have to admire them in taking matters into their own hands to come here.
  19. Anyone remember before the Internet we had the Littlewoods catalogue? Or we went round half a dozen newsagents before plucking up the courage to buy a Fiesta? I remember the feeling of achievement coming home with a scud mag hidden in the arm of my jacket and 4 chocolate bars and 3 pints of milk in my pockets.
  20. Forget all this talk of HGVs, beetles and immigrants. Some real news is on the horizon! Next month there is a massive crackdown on porn sites - you will have to provide a credit card etc to get access.... We best all start amassing a porn stockpile NOW!
  21. Some people were saying we should accept more asylum seekers into the UK. I used the photos to demonstrate that French society is starting to look a bit rubbish due to the number of third world migrants they had.... Some people here then said the photos were photoshopped (I'm glad you agree they aren't). I know I'll be called a "racist" for saying this. However I don't want to live in a society where families on a beach need to be protected by armed soldiers.....
  22. Well trolled sir! The four soldiers were clearly only walking past the girl. They weren't her personal bodyguards.
  23. Why would the Sun need to photoshop photos to show the French military patrolling beaches etc? There are thousands of photos online showing this.... When you go to the beach do you keep your kids on a leash? The state of emergency lasted something like two years. You really saying you wouldn't take your kids to a beach for two years? Do you think this one is photoshopped as well?
  24. What forum are you talking about? It's not a matter of believing what the Sun says though... It's widely known that the French had a state of emergency and French soldiers were patrolling the streets of French towns/ cities.... Here are the photos that Wes doesn't believe... Make your own mind up folks. They don't look photoshopped to me....
  25. Yeah, that's right. I'm sure GCHQ and the police would be foiled by a hard right extremist using "duck duck".
