I did get your holocaust reference. Europeans colonised the world for 200 years, we were then asked to leave our colonies in Asia and Africa etc. Places like Saudi don't have a problem with migrants invading them and demanding sanctuary... Why is that? Israel is surrounded by countries that hate them. 20% of Israels population is Muslim. Israel is clearly doing something right as it is a successful democracy...

What planet are you from? Over the last 30 years anyone that was concerned about migration was labelled a "racist". Yeah, nice one Mark. 500 europeans killed in the last two years, but you get all worked up about nasty right wing racists. I'll say this again, if we had listened to the racists 50 years ago we wouldn't now have widespread terrorism in Europe.

ffs, there are mass protests by muslims to bring sharia law to the UK. We have already seen the democratic process abused by muslims in places like Tower Hamlets.

I was just watching the news there. Diane Abbot was criticising the government for not accepting more of the "child" migrants from the hell hole that is France.. It's bizzare how out of touch Labour are. IMHO, UKIP are the party that represents the interests of working people the most.

Does that not prove my point? Bush tried to establish a democracy in Iraq and it never worked.... We tried to establish a democracy in Afghanistan as well and that never worked. Sooner or later all of us will just have to admit that some cultures and democracy don't mix....

If we had listened to the "racists" 50 years ago we wouldn't now have a problem with terrorism in Europe. I think it's about time we actually listened to what the "fascists" have to say about the problems we have. There are 50 Islamic countries in the world. If people feel unhappy in a secular democracy could they not move to one of them? Tbh, it's indigenous Europeans that are getting backed into a corner. It's us that are getting told we have to accept terrorism and the loss of our culture.

The Guardian website..... If the readers of a newspaper dedicated to vegetarians and social workers are against migration and Islam you can be fairly sure the tide has turned... What you have to realise is that YOU are the extremist here. It's only you left wingers that don't see any problem with Islam and migration. Everyone else is fed up with them. You even look at the comments on the Economist website, many of the most "liked" ones are against migration...

That's what gets me. Trump gets elected and white Liberals get hysterical and protest on behalf of their Muslim allies. After a terrorist attack we see absolutely no mass protests by the mainstream Muslims condemning it. It's hard not to think white Liberals are getting used.

You must admit that the message coming from the Left isn't exactly appealing. You look at Corbyn and he'd invite the entire third world into Britain. You look at the mayor of London (Khan) and he says terrorism is the price of living in a big city. These aren't exactly viewpoints to get traditional working class voters excited. imho, Labour have turned their back on their traditional voters and deserve to be destroyed at elections.

I spent a fair amount of time online looking at general forums etc. It's amazing how many anti Islam viewpoints are now being expressed. Ten years ago any forum comment that was "racist" would have been criticised by everyone else, but now "racist" comments are generally "liked".

Until recently Islamic State controlled an area the size of a reasonably large country. Do you think they could do this without significant support amongst the Islamic community? Can you name many Islamic countries which respect minority rights and are democratic?

I agree with that... For the last 50 years "racists" have been warning about the downfalls of importing people from cultures that aren't compatible with the West. The warnings from the "racists" have been proved fairly accurate.... It's no wonder that Trump got elected when the electorate see that traditional politicians have been proved wrong.

So your argument is that historically Europe has been a violent place and we shouldn't get worked up about a little Islamic terrorism? Honestly Richard, you can absolutely stick that viewpoint right where the sun doesn't shine. For a thousand years Europeans slaughtered each other in battles over land and religion. It's only in the last 70 years that we've had peace in Europe (apart from Yugoslavia and Ukraine). If migrants to Europe cant live in peace with us they should be sent back. If I went and stabbed someone and I said to the court "I don't know why everyone is getting so worked up, the Nazis done a lot worse in WW2", what do you think the judge would say?

500 europeans dead in countless terrorist attacks.... How high does the body count have to get before you admit there is a problem? We take migrants from some of the most violent cultures on earth and expect them to become "european" when we give them a european passport. It's an utterly deluded viewpoint.

Over the last fifty years mainstream politicians have told us that migration was 100% good and that "racists" were evil. Over the last 50 years the media have been telling us that migration was brilliant and "racists" were evil. It turns out that many of the warnings from the "racists" were correct. The real reason you hate "racists" is that they have been proved right time and time again. Should we maybe start listening to what the "racists" have to say?

500 Europeans killed by terrorists in the last 2 years. Mainstream politicians just say that we will have to just get used to terrorism. I don't think Europeans should have to get used to shootings/ bombings/ trucks driven into crowds....

It's received enough votes to be debated in Parliament.... I can only assume the other petition got more votes as many Trump haters are unemployed wasters and students that have more free time to sign petitions and go on marches?

That's the way polls work though, they ask some people from a sample group and extrapolate the results....

Why should the American Constitution apply to non Americans? What legal right do Iranians and Yemenis have to travel to America? The fact of the matter is that most Westerners don't want third world migrants in their country. I honestly believe that most westerners supports Trump's ban.

I think the difference though is that most shooting victims are gang members and other criminal types. If we're being honest we don't care too much if they are shot... Terrorists attack everyone for no reason...
