  1. I wonder if you can help me out I've just had a lucus swing lift fitted to my transit but I'm struggling with wood weights. I'm guessing that first bit of timber in the 2nd post down weights1.5t? And then the smaller bit being lifted by the penny crane weights about 300kg. Am I close? Cheers

  3. hi, at the moment i have a 250 kg lucas swing lift with a boat winch. i want to put a electric 12v winch on it instead. has this been done by anyone? if so what one did you use? cheers

  6. ttp yes that was annoying the whole job was smooth as you like and unfortunately i couldn't film the real tricky stuff hanging over the neighbours house because the go pro ran out of battery but that couldn't of gone any better considering some of the limbs were actually resting on the roof but then right at the end stupid mistake and dinged the fence but it didn't matter in the grand scheme of things because a week later we were already pre booked in to replace all the panels for new ones as the old ones were really rotten. thanks for your comment though I'm trying to get as much feedback as poss to eventually be able to be making some really good films.

  8. hi gray thanks for commenting yes 880 way overkill i would of used my 660 but it was in for a service, my truck is a 2008 ford ranger that i converted myself. it has a bike box with tool box ladder rack and uprated springs. i love it. cheers mate

  11. Weblift 1600kg winch inc 20m cable What are peoples opinions on this winch? Any good? Is it honestley that much worse than tirfor? Or has anyone got a link to a better winch? Cheers

  14. Awsome it looks. I thought as stihl say a 20" is fine then whats the problem with an 18" i like climbing with it.
  15. I have just wacked an 18" bar on my 660 that i normally run a 30" bar on. I have turned the oiler down and i love it not much heavier than a 341 but just so quick. Am i going to cause damage to the saw? Im aware the bar will probably wear quick. Cheers
