  1. Buy Honda. Tried and tested for years. I'd go for a foreman 500 manual. Try and pick up the single rear shock version. It's more stable than the twin shock.
  2. You need to find an old style metal one with the chain/plunger inside. The plastic guns are hopeless.
  3. I'm currently on 8150 which was an upgrade from 6400. I tow a botex 560tl and euro12 14 trailer. I find it wee bit clumsy in wood compared to the 6400 due to its size. I do a lot of road work these days so it does burn through the fuel. I'm up and down the a9 and feel the 8150 is abit underpowered for that. New tractor next year will be t131 with the tuning chip fitted to around 170hp
  4. We had a brand new 5150 pro with the pump opened up. If memory serves me right it's slides in the pump that you change. I reckon we got her up to 180ish
  5. Eurosport had the best coverage, so did sky when they had it. I'm not sold on the bt coverage yet.
  6. Road speed is the only advantage I found. I've tried one with a botex fitted and it was hopeless in the forest. Fine for road sides and fields.
  7. Wind and snow. So much for the first day of spring ⛄️
  8. Navara will go bang. Conrods snap. Isuzu has the best towing capacity is out of the pick ups. Personally hilux. I can't fault mine.
  9. Our 3120 was bought brand new in 1990 or 91 and the estate paid £795 for it. 3120 isaround double that now.
  10. I'd do it by day. We work in team of 3 we'll do at a pure guess 2-3 acres a day but I'd need to check my diary tomorrow to give you a defiant answer. Our restock sites are terrible really steep so it makes it slow work. The main chemical used now a days is forester. Mix rate is 20ml chemical per 1lt water. It goes on at 10-20ml diluted per tree... Or rough scoosh lol I can get the price of 5 ltrs tomorrow when I'm in the office.
  11. Labour costs I can't help you with as I'm an estate forester. It is labour extensive process tho. chemical cost I can give you a rough idea. How many trees per hectare are planted?
  12. In my opinion auto tune has improved the rev band. (Bloody iPhone)
  13. I'm sure what way husky will go design wise tobe honest. But they do seem to be going for the 550/60/ 76 design. the 555 is a good example of that. 372 etc has been round for a good few years now and they could be next to be discontinued and replaced. 357 went as soon as the 560 arrived. I thought when 576 arrive 372 would be gone. A 595/5120 wouldn't be a bad design. In my opinion has the auto tune definitely improved the rev band.
