  1. Can't be doing too badly for someone who seemed to be unemployed, yet manages to go to LA twice in a year and Ukraine.

The mother thing is understandable, but my mum worries about me climbing trees and using saws, she worried about me skateboarding in my teens. I don't think anyone's mother would ever be cool with them doing something like that

Yes but she's knows you've undergone specific training and that you are tied in . And the whole living under my roof my rules thing, she did ask him not to go. Surely his attributes could go into something of more use?

  2. It's the disregard of his mothers feeling that got me, us country bumpkins were brought up with more respect for those that struggled to bring us into the world. Though looking at where they lived it doesn't look like he's struggled with much.

  3. The thing with text messages and written words is that u can't get a grip on if someone's being sarcastic, cutting or whatever? So if it was meant as a bit of banter fair enough I took it the wrong way and take my point back. Don't want to fall out with people! As for the start of the thread I'm obviously not as good at it as some people. Pobodys Nerfect.

    Friends again?

  4. Sorry but what a ridiculous thing to say! Of course urbanism doesn't freak me out, the whole dangling 300' from a tower crane unaided does though! And if you can't see a link there's not supposed to be one.

    Have a great day. :-)

  5. Bear in mind that racing castor oil is formulated for, well, racing. It leaves a film in the bore and on the piston to ensure your motor is coated during very heavy heat cycling and loads for hours at a time. Once race day is over, you then tear down the engine and rebuild it. If you don't, you will accrue both carbon and castor build up over time. For GTG's and race day events with chainsaws, it's perfectly fine. But I wouldn't run it every day in a work saw unless I planned to pull it apart within a short while.

    Smells freakin lovely though.

Sorry I meant to say Castrol 2t not castor oil. I wouldn't use that in a saw. But thanks for the in-depth explanation.

  6. I guess Stihl should have made a separate range of saws with the old "simple" screw caps, for those who struggle with complex things, they could call it the………………."Dim range":laugh1::lol::biggrin:

I'll tell my groundie that, he'll pee himself........then hunt you down and kill you lololololol

  7. I am sure you didn't mean for this thread to turn into the list of sarcastic comments it is going to do :001_rolleyes::lol:

here's my serious input: I got this idea from AT.

Thread a plastic carritool clip onto your harness, and tie the gate open with a cable tie to make a hook that you can hang your saw on whilst climbing!

    works perfect for me.

    Good call :-)
