We got alot of poplar trees which we are interested in finding a market for, any ideas? The average size of tree would be 18 " across and very tall ,there is a few acres of these trees which need thinning out. Thanks for any advice Ian

Thanks for replies I m just interested in what the saw would comfortably do I ve just got a 365 xt to run along side my 357 xp which I love ,I don't really earn a living from these saws but enjoy doing a lot of fire wood and I m not interested with the saws that have a lot of electronic wizardry on so I beginning to like my 357 xp and hopefully my 365 as well

You might like to consider a skip chain, available in 0.058" from RobD
Interesting what bar can you run them on ?

I'm not sure how you can finish an article stating that the points are facts when most points stated say probable or probably. Bacon is also a carcinogenic probably according to WHO.

I m afraid corn grown in USA with GM technology and wheat grown in Europe are so far apart reliant on Round up yes there maybe better ways in an ideal world but farmers battle with the biggest factor which we carnt control the weather widescale organic farming is idealistic and fairy land stuff in the real world farmers need all the help they can get its not about profit or loss its abouy dealing with real issues that come along in the real world that prevent a crop coming to harvest . We have organic farmers around here growing crops but with grreat difficulties yes organic livestock production is more possible but cropping is a different ball game

Info worth reading not that I'm anti usage but offers insight
https://www.hortzone.com/blog/2016/12/26/about-glyphosate-aka-roundup/
Doesn't offer any insight these reports are all written by the same guys with another agenda there is nothing new there

If you can, watch a documentary called food Inc. Interesting stuff.
I believe believe the government could be doing more to help reduce the use of petrol by perhaps improving public transport instead of just coining in on the revenue.

My point being there is bigger risk from everyday products than Round up ,if you drank enough even coffee can kill you its a carcinogenic
-
I have not read all the dribble thus far. I have seen a few documentaries regarding mosanto in America, evil evil company. Plenty of other companies punting the same product under different names which do the same job. I would be up for a ban. If we have to pay more for food then so be it, we have to look at alternatives. While these products are in use there is no push to develop. Anyway surely the organic growers are getting by without the aforementioned product.

Petrol and bleech are more dangerous and possibly have a bigger negative effect on peoples lives do you want to ban them as well ?
-
I totally agree with your sentiment, but realistically that wouldn't happen.
We would just end up importing wheat from countries who haven't banned glypho.
A sensible reply
-
Anyway its not glyophsate bit that's the problem its all the wetters that are added to make it work that are the cause for concern

Why ?
Explain

It's just possible you may have missed the irony there.....
Why ?
