hello there Braco

would you be able/interested to supply whole logs for firewood processing if so what kind of quantity at any one time, rough price and where abouts in Aberdeenshire are you.

If I could find a way to get them to Aberdeen to the streamline shipping company then I could work out how much delivery would be to see if viable.

Many Thanks Alan Pratt

 12. Hello folks looking for some advice on which chains to be using on standard bars for carving it would be for a stihl ms 181 and 271 I use a dime tip and carving chain on the ms 170 and it always seems to cut faster and better ,do you get such a thing as a carving chain for bigger standard bars ??? I am confused HELP,, feels like the biger cuts using the ms271 take forever even with a new chain

 17. I use a 170 with a cannon dime tip 12" and I would highly recommend it nice and light and plenty of grunt with a quarter pitch chain .
 18. I think your opening statement sums that up "I'm not a carver"! I am sure your rasp thingy is not bad to use and safe enough ,I think the main point here is using a chainsaw blade disc when the guy is only starting at chainsaw carving .
 19. Stick with a carving bar and sanding discs ,with the money you save from that chainsaw disc thingy buy a makita file sander ,I agree with the other guys bloody deadly peece of kit .hope that helps

 22. Trust me the thought has crossed my mind ! the guy next door loves nothing more than complaining to the council and making peoples life difficult around the neighborhood ,I feel his time is coming soon where he pushes me that e bit to far !!
 23. I am up the other end of the country, Orkney Isle (Scotland) thanks for the offer though it would have been good to see one working . The flow rate on your power pack is on the low end of the range for the cs06 saw so yours may give you a slower speed they recomend between 26lpm to 34lpm. Cheers Steve for the offer Thanks Alan
