  1. They said they burnt too fast 😳😳 and it was oak what I took them. I could possibly see there point if it was birch or sycamore but not oak 👍

  3. Now now I don't think this customer knows what day of the week it is never mind where logs come from 😉I've been selling them for 4 years. I'm sure everyone else is the same wanting to get it cut split and drying out for a good service
  4. Had a complaint yesterday from a customer that my hardwood logs are too dry! I was flabbergasted and took about 30 seconds to think of a reply. When it eventually came I said I shall fetch u a green load. When I explained what "green" meant they replied oh no that is no good the logs won't burn!!! Anyone else had problems with these sort of people before??

  8. Birch will burn right away if you want it to. It has very low moisture content when "green"
  9. I don't know how someone has bent the tines. I've had some bent pieces of timber in it and riving and tearing at timber and It hasn't offered to bend anymore
  10. Them bent tines were bent when I bought it
  11. That's what I use mate it's a Sanderson muck grab. It's very robust and is much safer than pallet forks when moving timber
  12. I used to use a bindenberger 450 with a full chisel chain on and if you were in some oak the chain used to normally last an hour at best before it needed sharpened. least little bit of dirt in the rough bark and that was the chain goosed. stand back when it was sharp though

  15. I think some people on here and I'm included in this when they say they are selling there hardwood for 40-60 a cube they actually mean for a dumpy bag
  16. So the question is Jon what do you reckon is in it logs wise 0.2. I guess it depends on how big your logs are doesn't it
  17. 50x50x100cm I've just found my brain I think and realised its 0.25m3 isn't it?? (It's been a long week) :-)
  18. I noticed a lot of people were working out the m3 of a dumpy bag. I take it Barrow bags are roughly 0.35 m3 or have a made a slight miscalculation (major f**k up) haha
  19. Flow fit on eBay. I got a ram and valve block off them. Very good to deal with
  20. They are some nice sized logs them Ben. Does the Massey handle her no bother in 1000 box?
  21. haha so it isn't just my customers what think they know about wood. I had one once trying to tell me my load of oak was SCOTS PINE!
