I just purchased a blower from the states had it shipped across. Has in excess of 100mph wind and also 4 stroke engine, blows every thing away perfect for long grass just cut a load which was over 2foot long blew all this away no trouble .

Hi Guys.. Wood prices ?? Are these effecting you . Seems like a lot of us are after good timber .but finding it for the right price is getting harder. If its fire wood grade it's easy to get a bargain but as soon as its for milling etc the price shoots up and a few even add VAT. I've been lucky that we have a few good suppliers that we can call upon , and we also have vast stocks but need to keep buying to keep stock up due to drying time . Having a job to get yew, apple, cherry ,lime etc so I'm always on the hunt .

We have a bit of cedar which go for bowl blanks . Never had a complaint and have turned it ourselves makes nice bowls .I would buy it off you if right money and in south east .

Go ape is great fun .... May just stay at home and take the kayak to sea catch some fish

Yes agree. Last year was a wash out :-) lol may just pop up with the kids if the sun stays out

Always get people ask this . It's a strange topic some says its ok some say its not.. Can you use spalted wood as chopping/serving boards... Bread, cakes etc ??
