  1. Just want to put this question out there ? i spend a lot of time looking on ebay am after a new tractor and mini digger among other kit. i am not soft and if its too good to be true it normally is. However I do messaged loads of the so called deals never had a reply yet wonder has anyone ever got a decent deal and is it just me thinking ebays getting more and more like a con man's paradise

  2. Was once working with a tarmac planning machine taking the wearing coat off the top of a concrete road section and some numpty had put the lighting cable in the expansion joint rather than dig a trench across the concrete road section. Big bang when we hit it!!

love the fact they put it in the expansion joint top blokes lol

  3. we do a lot of work for some village trusts and constantly hitting scaffold poles embedded in the stumps and trees which is a right laff !:thumbup:

When i was a young groundworker i was digging a trench for an extension on the front of a house with a machine and the top blokes from the electric board had been lazy and lay the electric cable in the flower bed along the drive massive bang puff of smoke and an naughty score in the bucket.

  4. yes i understand that they will never see the light of day and i know my old man since hes been doing it 35 years and i think he has show his like twice but after spending a long time doing all my chainsaw and climbing qualifications and spending a few quid on it all blar blar would of been nice to have a decent ID card anyways it is what it is nice easy day stump grinding tomorrow am sure i will get over it

  5. well i would consider 4 damaged clips on 4 different saws to be a lot one of which i have seen with my own eyes and the guy who owns it definitely does not abuse his equipment. as your man joe loggs said we work in a arduous environment and the equipment we use should stand up to a minimum standard. I.E from time to time the saw gets dropped snagged etc not on purpose this just happens. all iam intending on doing is finding out what people think befor i buy one however i may just get one bubble wrap it and baby sit it up in the tree

  6. mate speak to a guy called Richard Olley he runs Kingswood Training Services down in Shipbourne Tonbridge kent i am in the army and did my resettlement down with him hes got a good set up am up in liverpool and its worth the 4 hour drive mite be worth giving him look plus you can get work to pay for it thats what i did
