  9. I've just bought some skyline 1.8 mm seems quite good and i'm liking the lighter bag ( stein 8 oz ). I've spliced a length of cheap red stuff on the ends so i can break it if its gets stuck. I think next time i'll just cut a few strands to weaken it.

  11. By the way, i know a few German climbers they don't use a lanyard at all.
  12. I use a snap connector instead of the ring.
  13. Anybody used a Don Blair sliding D harness, that give me problems it had high back part.
  14. Using my Treeflex harness lower down ( on the hips) , especially when spiking . Works much better for me. Really can feel the difference after work. I think my worst problem is having the chainsaw always on one side. Maybe one side of the back is stronger then the other.
