  1. Having a bit of trouble with the stihl km130 head unit, struggles to run on idle and sometimes over revs does anyone know how to reset the factory settings? I have a feeling the groundy tried to fix by fiddling with all available switches and dials, haha cheers tom
  2. took it to garage, looks like its the gearbox, truck is jumpy when not moving and 1st gear selected, drives ok when at speed through other gears though. anyone know who to try for 2nd hand 98 navara gearbox? in or around east sussex/kent?
  3. so looks like its the gearbox thats gone on my navara tipper 4x4 and not the clutch, either way Im buggerd does anyone know of a decent hire company in the south east UK, that can hire transit trucks (tipper a bonus) for a short period of time? any help appreciated tom
  4. after doing a few heavy loads with trailer about 20miles ive noticed a grinding sound, can be felt through clutch pedal, feels rough to dip and release clutch whilst driving few questions: 1. am I ******? is it going to explode soon? 2. how long have I got before it needs to be fixed, (have a few jobs to do very soon need to know if ill be safe 3.what would you do? fix asap or can it be done in a week or so? 4. what should I be looking to pay for fix? thanks in advance tom

  6. recently took down a monster of a beech tree, subsiquently have about 6 transit van loads of green beech timber/cord, larger stuff cut into cubes to aid loading/unloading anyone interested in it?   8. That time again for new tyres, front two are dangerously bald, rear aint too bad, but want a full new set. Im currently running General Grabber AT TYRES SIZE 215/65 R16 question is im after cheap as possible, suitable for on and off road, I can get the same tyres im on now for £101 fitted each, is there anything else out there or any thing else you guys can suggest?   9. from this old fencing to this, customer insisted on using old posts some of which were out of level and not all same height, hence small bump in the finished level still, looks better than before

Alright guys, looking for the best way to put down some astroturf, approx 4m x 5m some say just wack down MOT type 1 hardcore, others say nail together a frame out of 2x4 lengths, lay on area and fill with hardcore, wack down to level of frame. Its only for a customers dog, so low quality astro turf is fine, already purchased. anyone done something similar?   11. not really sure where to put this, so if its in the wrong place, could a mod move it? im after someone to grind out a large beech tree stump, half rotten, approx 3-4ft across, easy access. my grinder is in the shop and my little pedestrianised one will struggle located in pevensey, east sussex. can anyone give a really rough price or recommend someone who wont charge the earth? thanks in advance! tom s.c.b tree surgery

  21. thanks for the replys guys, think im going to spray to kill off, then rotavate it, removing old turf is just too costly, especially due to access down tight country lanes and the way the garden is set out. quote sent, just waiting on approval!
  22. customer has asked for over 1000 square meters of old grass to be replaced with high quality turf, just wondered if any of you had idea's on how bes to proceed, I would just get a diger in, strip off old turf, spread few " top soil then turf. any other options to consider?
