Still I thought this BBC - Peter Kay to star in BBC Two comedy Cradle To Grave - Media Centre was the best written comedy in years
  3. :thumbup1:Very true . Alan Savory was the opposition leader in Rhodesia and against White rule , so not a Resist in any form. [ame] [/ame]
  4. The new Ifor Williams trailers are made lighter because they use marine steel for the chassis that can bend more and go back to shape if they are over exerted and are considerably stronger than standard mild steel. The bodies are mainly alloy , the whole idea is to increase the actual pay load one can put on the trailer .I have an Uncle that has worked there for more than 30 odd years and he says that a massive amount of time & money has been spent bending ,breaking and all round testing ,specifically to increase payloads, as he says its impossible to judge the quality of modern materials on sight alone, they have laboratory test to get the specific standard of materials.
  5. Glastir woodland creation (Wales). Its maintenance as they call it ,if you are a orgasmic you can cut & trim if you wish .You only spot spray 6 inch round the plant for the first 2 years ,the difference in growth is considerable compared to a streamside corridor I filled up the spaces with tree plants that didn't require any spraying to comply .Plenty of space for naturally seeded trees to spring up ,and indeed they are coming through ,its not blanket treatment in anyway.
  6. Id make holes first and a few hours later if there's water in the hole stick an Alder in ,if it has no visible water stick a silver birch in possibly or other similar types of tree . Willows if you can harvest with a large machine or a very big chipper are good, but hard work if you have to cut ,cart and process . I have planted a lot of Alders on nearly all the wet ground on my farm and in all honesty there is little need to spray or cut vegetation around them as they are so fast growing ,the only reason I have done a little bit of spraying of Glysophate(roundup) is to comply with the rules of the grant I have claimed to help pay for the planting & fencing. Alders or willow will self seed effortlessly ,in 10 years or less you can get a quick return with a bit of hard work to follow and you will not need to replant.

What do Donkeys on Blackpool beach have for dinner. Half an hour.
  8. And George Monitwot (who said he doesn't like chainsaws)will be advising her how to do it.
  9. A Vegan minister of AG is enough to give us livestock farmers nightmares.
  10. Ground Force Croma 30 Chain Saw Oil
  11. I like the machine just need a stronger Splitter 10T +, for twisty knotty hardwoods.
  12. Looking at various Processors . CCa Firewood Processing Station - Ryetec Industrial Equipment Limited SCD NT logging sawbench with conveyor - Spectrum Plant plus Splitter Both from the same factory in Italy I believe , what do the good folks on this forum know about these machines. I know they wouldn't be the fastest and needing more lifting ,but I was wondering if they might be more versatile with a wider range of timbers from spindly clusters of hazelwood up to your 12" log, and maybe less money . I noticed that the Ryetec has 12T spliter ,but the Balfor only has a 9T splitter Riko*UK*::*SC700 Saw & Conveyor (see description) ,are there more differences .
