  4. Oblivion is a 10km off road run with various obstacles thrown in for good measure Mud Runner | Nothing Tougher I thought my chip time wud be what was used, but my watch recons I did 1:03:41 which is practically 10mins faster than my chip time so I don't really kno what the crack is, still well chuffed with 93rd out of 1600 tho :-)
  5. Just seen the results from Sundays oblivion race :-) my time 1:13:41, getting me position 93, but I don't think tht takes into account I started in the 3rd wave so my watch time is 10mins faster than that, well chuffed, and epic race, probably the hardest I've done, but so much fun :-D
  6. Have the shugbourgh relays tomorrow, only a 2mile lap, so should be a good old sprint :-)
  7. So after my 3rd eye injury in 3 months, I think it's time to find some better glasses. The first 2 injuries were actual "whips" to the eye, had my glasses and visor down on both occasions, but still got a strike straight to the middle of my eyeball on the first occasion, and the second was more of a whip. The 3rd on Friday afternoon whilst in a Sycamore, I'm unaware of being hit in the face, so went to shropdoc last nite to be told it was probably a allergic reaction to getting pollen in my eye. So my question is, does anyone use the glasses that are more like safety goggles with foam around the frames to stop everything getting into the eye, because is don't really want to loose my sight :-( Have found these with a quick google search Bolle TRACPSF Tracker (Smoke Lens) - Buy Online Now - UK Next Day Delivery Thanks
  8. Going to llandegala on sat, can't wait, not been on my mountain bike in ages :-D
  9. I'm doing mine in October through Walford college, guy Watson is doing that one too, can't wait, and I think there are spaces on that too
  10. Did 30 odd lengths in the pool at lunch time (we had a stand down day from wpd) and then gonna do a nice little 30km ride later once it's cooled down a little, only 3 weeks till oblivion gotta get the mileage up haha
  11. Can I try the spikes before u go, and u realise I'm gonna rape ur old climbing kit for stuff :-)
  12. Just done a timed 5k run, smashed 50 seconds off my time 20:30, only 31 seconds and I will be under 20mins :-)
  13. I thinks hats the corner ppl are smiling at as there is only about 3-4 miles to go, I wud enjoy biking on anything I think, I'm trying to get my friend to let me buy is OnOne inbred but its one if the old handbuilt ones and its epic, Having sed that tho, it's all about the rider and less the bike
  14. Ive just got back from a 8mile run 1.03:14 not bad considering i was only going to do 6 :-) I love my full sus bike, usedf to have a hard tail, but having had my Cube about 2yrs i dont think i could change it, being able to lock the suspension out is wicked Before its first ride out at degla, hated the tyres so i have xc pros on it again now
