yes, it is saprophytic. The tree lost a large limb last week in the high winds, and is now unbalanced, with this remaining limb overhanging listed garages. My thoughts were to reduce, but there isn't much left to reduce back to, so will probably be a pollard and see how it recovers from that. I think the client is keen to remove fully.

Anyone in the Gloucestershire area have this book I could borrow or rent?
Need it asap

Are there any council site within that area, or is there a site I can check that anyone knows of?

Hi,
I have a job in December in the SW15 area for a family friend.
I'm not from the area and don't know it at all.
I'm looking for somewhere to tip some wood chip or even possibly some branches and brash so I can avoid taking the chipper.
If anyone is able to help it would be much appreciated
Thanks

I've got one that has been sitting around at the workshop. It has a problem with the hydraulic pump which reduces the pressure when warmed up. I'm sure it is repairable but I know hire in a processor to cut my firewood.
Any one interested pm me an offer?

I'm not actually sure all I know is it's the blade that sits on the bottom

Does anyone have a set of spare blades, they don't have to be new. I use this as a scrub cutter and managed to break the bottom blade. Don't want to buy new ones for cutting dirty scrub.
Thanks

Anyone have somewhere to drop a fair few loads of chip and timber in worcester?

Thanks,
So to clarify. What is the working distance to boundary line and tracks in which you don't need pts?
I am yet to see the job in person so may be clearer when I do.
If I don't need to be working within the rail airspace and can all be carried out within the industrial sites, does this need any additional requirements?
Or is it purely for the fact of safe working in the case of something cocking up?

Hi,
What would be the the best way to carry out works near train lines.
The trees are on an industrial site which backs up to the line.
What procedures should be carried out before carrying out any works?
It's very unlikely access will be needed from track side but any advise on this sort of thing would be appreciated.

Could anyone suggest the cause of death of this photinia x fraseri?
I had a dig around the base and under the bark was white and fleshy.
My thoughts were Armillaria mellea, but I'm aware this may not be primary cause of death.
A ceanothus was removed a few months ago which was also dead.
Any help appreciated

Does anyone know if I can replace my lanyard with any climbing rope or does it only take the replacement stop they sell?
