PETROL ENGINE, WOLFTRACK® VARIABLE WIDTH, DUAL SPEED TRACKING SYSTEM New for 2020 is a petrol powered variant of our popular 6 inch tracked machine, the Timberwolf TW 230VTR wood chipper. The Stage V compliant, petrol-powered TW 230VTR has been redesigned to ensure the machine remains perfectly balanced despite the addition of the lighter Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V Twin petrol engine and improved ventilation ensures the engine bay is kept cool during operation. In addition, the exhaust system sits within the chassis to offer better protection from impacts when travelling over rough ground, and a patent pending exhaust diffuser has been introduced which reduces exhaust gas temperatures by up to 150 degrees centigrade. Operator safety and comfort is a priority, with an ergonomic ride on platform, low centre of gravity and WolfTrack® two-speed smooth running tracks. The variable track width and the easily removable hopper helps the TW 230VTR get through the narrowest of site access points with ease. PETROL ENGINE, HYDRAULIC FEED, BRAKED ROAD CHASSIS A rock solid, reliable, high performance 6” petrol wood chipper The Timberwolf TW 230HB petrol powered sub 750kg wood chipper delivers class-leading performance, reliability and efficiency and is fully Stage V compliant. Based on the successful Timberwolf TW 230PAHB, the TW 230HB petrol powered variant has been enhanced with a new hood design which includes additional ventilation and an improved exhaust design. The exhaust system has been designed so sit within the chassis to offer better protection from impacts when travelling over rough ground or road furniture, and a patent pending exhaust diffuser has been introduced, reducing exhaust gas temperatures by up to 150⁰C. Today’s professional arborist is under pressure to get the work done as quickly as possible with minimal fuss, so a wood chipper with an exceptional work-rate, being strong and powerful enough to take everything thrown at it without complaint is always top of the requirement list. With these demands, up-time is also paramount so quick and easy servicing schedules and clear access to all service items were also part of the design brief. 4. Hi Jamie As you are a garden maintenance business you may produce more green waste than brown in which case it may be worth looking into shredders as opposed to chippers has they generally perform better on green waste but can still shred brown waste, 2-4" for example. The Eliet range of shredders are worth a look as they are very good quality, narrow enough to get down alleys, gateways etc and are light enough for one man to manage (may need ramps if going in back of van) I would advise doing what you can to encourage the customer to let you leave the shredded material behind (spread in the hedge bottoms as mulch for example) has it is going to become more difficult and expensive to dispose of waste. Hope the information above is of use and of course the above is just my opinion and I am sure there is plenty of other options out there. Martin
