  5. Check this out could be your guy, am sorry if this isn't but it looks like the van you described. ford transit tipper for sale or swap for smaller van or pick up | United Kingdom | Gumtree
  6. Thats not on at all what a bunch of scum bags, not to sure if this is much help but you might be able to find something about the van. I work in the glasgow area so i might see these guys running about. https://www.gov.uk/get-vehicle-information-from-dvla
  7. Got some secondhand Klein spikes with buckingham pads, had them for 2-3 years now and there still nice to wear all day climbing.
  8. Sounds good Gareth av been looking at smaller chippers with a lower shoot hight so i can chip into the back of my l200 with a canopy on it, i would be keeping anything bigger than 3-4" for firewood so something this size would be enough, how do you find getting parts for them?
  9. Just wondering if anyone has got/ used one of these little 18er chippers , haven't seen many in the uk but they look good. Cougar 18 ER | TS Industrie
  10. My Arb truck

  17. Wondered this myself before about the oil filter being fine, would be good to see how you get on with the filter swap
  18. i think it was in for a day or two at the shop was still under warranty but if you where doing it yourself i might only take a few hours
  19. Yeah seen the loadhandler on youtube, its a great bit of kit would save alot of moving by hand at drop offs, i like how it sits on the tail gate too doesn't look like it would get in the way of other things
  20. yeah been doing that too now especially if the drop off is a fair drive away, rather give them a good load than have to drive home with a "not very full load" still in the back. I really like the tipper you got there av been taking it off by hand which was ok but av just stuck a truckman top on it and it doesn't help having to crawl around in the back haha
  21. haha i knew the gaps would get brought up Thanks for the advice Daniel am still new to the firewood business just got the truck, £80 sounds a better price
  22. Had the oil pump changed twice and ended up being told it was down to not using stihl chain oil(which i was using at the time) and that other brand chain oil with too thick, the saw tech told me the pipe that pulls the oil from the tank can crimp if the oil is too thick but am not sure if this is always the case
  23. Had the joys of chipping branches that had been through dog mess covering my new sip trousers in the process
  24. been selling loads for £70 in the single cab L200 but my overheads are small (still splitting by hand)
  25. i tried everything before the first oil pump was changed but i am just going to let the dealer take care of it now, what sort of problems did you get from yours MattyF? its a shame because when its working its fantastic
