  7. Just wondering how people got on with getting a mortgage as a a self employed arb? Me and the Missus are going to start looking into it and thought I might start a thread for people in a similar situation or people who have succeeded in getting a mortgage to give some tips on best lenders etc etc?
  8. For your average domestic customer I have a logo headed template quotation sheet with customer name, address, scope of works, date, price and signature. I write this out for them and I keep a note in my diary of the customer and job details etc. if the work is accepted I have 4 white boards in my office separated into 4 weeks which I then fill up as work comes in. Just use what you find is most organised.

  10. Haha I find that the local tree surgeons start looking at us funny when I venture out of my stomping grounds, I'm based near Lewes in East Sussex.
  11. I had thought of that as had it happen on other vehicles. The tailgate is made so that it is well away from the tow ball when tipped.
