  1. Thats gonna bite em on the backside!
  2. The definitive answer is upon us! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-5351721/DOMINIC-LAWSON-Lefties-no-oil-paintings.html (Don't worry that it is being reported in the Daily Mail (take a Herculean effort to set your personal biases apart for a second), that is merely the reproduction and interpretation of the source reference which comes from the Political and Life Sciences journal - a biannual, interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal with a global audience: http://www.aplsnet.org/journal.html) And there we have it.... Handsome bar stewards of world unite against Marxism!!
  3. I'll drink to that Speaking of "don't have to answer", I'll just break down the previously implied observation and leave the outstanding question hanging out there for you: You seek to lambast those that identify / align / admire JRM on the basis that he is duplicitous because his personal beliefs don't neatly align with his party's political policy position on (your quote) a single issue. Are we to assume the plank in your eye has blinded you to the obvious, multiple parallels which exist within Comrade Corbyn's personal v party political policy positions - or is it just that the single example you seem to be presenting for JRM's unsuitability as a politician is more significant than the multiple apparent moral conflicts that Corbyn faces. Or is it simpler than that.....? Perhaps you're one of those angry, illogical, shouty, self entitled, momentum louts that thinks suppression of intelligent discussion is OK so long as you're wearing your Che Guevara T shirt, beret and "Anonymous" face mask? You don't have to answer...... (it's quite apparent)
  4. I thought you were..... But you seem to have completely missed the point
  5. You'll be well rid (once the shock has passed.) Wrong tree, wrong place. Is it Staffordshire by any chance? So many suburban houses with tiny front gardens seem to have these beasts.... There must have been a couple of hooky container loads doing the rounds 30-50 years ago....
  6. So by that logic... Don't vote Tory because JRM personally opposes abortion..... And you'd vote Corbyn.....? What madness is that??
  7. (did you mean Parliament??)
  8. I watched it on Adrew Marr this morning Eggs. It was quite funny, no sooner had he said he would like to see Comrade Corbyn as PM, the light of realisation dawned on him, that apart from a particular quadrant of society, anything that came out of his treacherous, murdering, terrorist, scum bag mouth would be the kiss of death as far as any sane individual was concerned.... Hey-Ho... Hamas, IRA, PLO..... Some canny friends the Leader of Her Majesty's Opposition has, not to mention the lunatics in the shadow Cabinet.
  9. So unlike what where we wuz edumacated.... (or is that, like my reply, a regional dialect??)
  10. Does it expand to the lb for lb growth comparison for pasture raised beef Mull? It should be obvious (to a blind man) that ‘fed’ rather than grazed cattle is madness, but then so is grazed cattle madness - just slightly less so than fed. Vast expanses of mono-culture grass with flail cut hedges (like the patch work fields that people have come to recognise as a ‘rural landscape’) are no justification for NFU to claim farmers are the ‘custodians of the countryside’ just because they get paid to set aside a couple of acres of unproductive land and call it “stewardship.” Eat less meat is the only way to check the industrial exploitation of the environment. Farming is a profit driven, business always seeking greater output and consuming more resources - just like any other manufacturing business. The main difference is farmers use baler twine to hold their trousers up and keep the gate closed whilst telling everybody that they know best how to ‘manage’ the land whilst a factory boss uses a Gucci belt, has electric gates and keeps quiet about the resources he uses and the pollution he generates.... Top of the morning to ya by the way....
  11. I'm not stressing it..... Vesp will tell us when and who to vote for..... It'll be easier than deciding myself - take last time: Corbyn et al, not an option. Local Tory, not an option. Lib Dems waste of time. No UKIP candidate. No BNP candidate. No independent worth a toss. Ended up voting Green! Sad state of affairs really.....
  12. I just thought it was the whisky at this end!
  13. Potentially, 6-12 months I'd say, not that I'd welcome the upheaval, but it may be inevitable. JRM or Corbyn - which one for you Mr E???
  14. Without wishing to morph into the religious, capitalist / socialist debate.... He is an unabashed man of faith, and separately, independently wealthy.... Questions: Can he (financially) sustain the children he has brought into the world? (wether the world could sustain every human couple x 6 is another matter....) If we accept his right to be of a 'faith', and that faith doesn't allow contraception, can we criticise him for following his faith? Not sure where that would lead us....? (Well, I pretty much am sure actually) If we were to question 'his' right to a family, would that necessarily 'require' us to apply equal scrutiny and judgement to all....?
  15. I'm not sure if it's your overt dislike like of a quality daily news outlet, or an assumed dislike of Tories that prevented your accurate correction of the obvious journalistic inaccuracies of the story Mr E... Not a debate for now (I'm on the firewater) but will make for an interesting discussion soon....
  16. That wouldn't necessarily discount him as a future PM....
  17. There is a "2", which has some amusing content, but like most sequels, it plays to the reputation of its forerunner and rather lacks the depth and gritty originality of the first outing. "...Bleddy Hell, the big boys are here, Ginsters have got a helicopter..." was a notable high point.....
  18. I've posted it before..... But it will NEVER cease to be hilarious.....
  19. That is HILARIOUS!!! There will be those in Mebyon Kernow that will actually BELIVE that.... Absolutely BRILLIANT!!
  20. It’s a bit of a standing joke! it just won’t DIE!
  21. Pretty ‘king naive taking a cuppa from someone that you don’t know.
  22. Could this finally be the "tail end" of the thread that Mick, quite some time ago, wished would wither and die....... ?
