    i am using the stihl also when its to high it goes into o/l above 45% but it gives varying readings on different logs ,think you got a bad one mate.

    for the boffins out there i am drying wood in a 20foot container with an industrial fan running ( cheap enough 50p a day ) and a de- humidifier ( not so cheap 3 quid a day ) but the water is bombing out of there ,i have not insulated container yet as the sun is warming it (when its out ) to approx 30degrees . The wood is down to approx 27%mc from a start of 38%mc in approx 8 days , so to the boffs how do i get the water out cheaper any ideas will be grateful. ps the container holds 18 bulk bags and is there a better way without increasing time by natural drying. Thx:thumbup:
