Can anyone quote me on wholesale prices for kiln dried firewood please ,thinking of doing kiln dried as well as seasoned this year and would like some numbers , loose load on artic tippers would be preferred option but pallets neatly stacked would be considered but sell my logs in 85x85 vented logs bags and would need to know how many bags a 2mt pallet would fill? Has anybody done this please. Mark

put a thread on a few weeks ago about the possibility of imported cordwood ,for me to work out some prices what would people pay for mixed hardwoods per tonne to be collected at dockside with wood FSC certified , 8-35cm as i am hearing hardwood cord price is going through the roof so i need some idea of what we would pay as a fair price , remember its to be artic lorry or 8 wheeler load collected.

you are spot on Santacruz spot on , awaiting prices at moment to work out costings ,got the price for shipping ( not containers ) awaiting offloading and transport costs before i can work on a price/tonne

these are the issues i am not aware of and that's why i am throwing it open to the forum, i am waiting for transport costs from offloading a ship to transporting 25miles ,if there are environment issues can anyone advise on them, rest assured it's not from eastern block countries .

Anybody on Arbtalk import firewood cord from the continent , have been making some inquiries and unless i am missing something it could be a goer especially in a group format anybody buy in cord like this.

keep calm Duffryn i agree with ash it helps the smaller business grow and offers potential with the customer winning and having quality logs all year round , how many of us run out of firewood before it even snows, i am new to this game and got into it after having a load of crap delivered 3 years ago, i rent a unit have limited space and am growing each year quite rapidly, very innovative duffryn i will be in touch to work out all costs good and bad.

Looking for advice , does anybody on arbtalk use or have come across a BGU 250 evolution processor ,electric or PTO . I am looking for a small processor with a 700mm saw so any feedback positive or negative is welcome.

Can anyone point me in right direction on where to pick up second hand processor from, auctions etc .Currently researching best small to medium size processor and the farmi WP ticks my boxes so any help would be gratefully received, Thanks.
