  1. i have a l200 single cab 2001 its takes the weight well tows no problem but likes a drink. i have owned it 8/9 years and its still going strong. i did have a drive of a new shape one and preferred mine
  2. we have a 2011 bot cat n14 with cab and heater the tracks are retractable.only reason we went for bobcat was price and it has a kubota engine. its done everything we wanted of it so far.

  6. just trying to way it up. which is the best route to go down new saw or buy a second hand processors and buy a load of lengths in and see if it pays for its self. all the log we have now get used by ourselfs not sold any
  7. how much log would you say is needed to warrant buying and processors. something the size of a japa 700 we only get about 7 ton a year but have been thinking about buying a few lengths in to make it pay for its self. wheres a good place to source it from? how do they price it weight or volume? thanks michael
  8. we use one were the chain saw is clamped to the bench. they is always 2 men one picks up and pushs the log the other is cutting the stuff we cut is from 3 inch to 18 inch thick and lengths depends on weight

  10. hi we collect about 7 to 10 ton of logs for cutting and splitting a year. i am thinking about getting a sliding bench saw or firewood processor but dont think we have the need for it with the amount we collect. I have been looking at second hand machines and there not cheap. at the moment we have been using our ms180 and ms181 on a saw horse. we use a little david brown 780 with a splitter. the 2 chains saw are only small but do the job. i have been thinking to speed the job up i should buy a larger cc saw. but which one? all our machines are stihl but have use echo and husky before but always seen to go back to stihl which saw do you recommend thanks michael
