  1. Thank you Drew! I like this cover-protector for example on eye sling for block and i used for lanyard too. I think, it´s good protection and eye will be hold longer time without damage. What do you say, it ´s ok or no?
  2. It is realy Beal. This lanyard i spliced for friend in Sweden, but i climbed with same long time and for adjust i used 8mm Ocean prusic. Working without problem, only this Beal is at beginning little bit slippery in hand. In gloves with ruber it´s good.
  3. I used BEAL Ginkgo 12mm, of course without Uni core, instruction Samson for 16 strand.
  4. Great working equipment, cheap, quickly and simply spliced. I think, good example for splice beginers.
  5. Hi Drew, amazing job! Congratulation and respect!!!
  6. Hi Gill, when you would like cheap and adequately quality riging ropes, you can try Sirius 16mm, 5850 kg, produce Teufelberger. Price without VAT 1,99 British pounds. We have good experiences.
  7. Thank you verry much Craig for your explanation!
  8. Nice job and very good idea, congratulation mate! I spliced some saver but with V belt in eye. Perfectly working too.
  9. Thanks Mog,i must try it, it´s good opportunity, you have true.

  12. Oh yes, TreeStuff have verry, but verry cheap Tenex, this is thrue! But for me it is so far
  13. Hi Mog, please, where can i buy Tenex cheper then "branch saver"? In Czech are Tenex 4,70 euro and Gemini 4t (produce Gleistein, i think similary as your "BS") 2,60 euro.
  14. Central service-do you use double braid for loopie? How you do it, please?
  15. Hi mate, congratulations! Nice, clear, cool! Please, how do you spliced AP? On website Treetools write: Armor-Prus is a Class II cord but you can use a modified Class I splice if you know what you're doing. With AP i have´t experience. Thanks, martin
  16. Hi mate, why no, i think work normally, only clip into small eye is no so much comfortably. I I like for long lanyard setup with Pinto+ normal carabiner, for examply Rock Exotica. I dont like two-way Ferrata biner. I mean, my setup will be cheaper, more safety, better work and is more cool Count: your setup (Fixe, ferrata carabiner, expres sling) 53 euro my setup (Pinto, Rock Exotica carabiner) 48 euro Cheers!
  17. Hi Matt, good question! For this setup you must adapt cherry size. For Pinto is original cherry too big. I have cherry diameter after resize 18mm and work great. And i little bit reduced Edelrid biner-without problem, it´s easy. Cheers
  18. Thank you for quickly answer, your method its look good. Take care!
  19. Maybe here (avalaible to diameter 96mm): http://www.gleistein.com/assets/download_pdfs_images/Kataloge/Industrie_DE_EN.pdf
  20. Hi Drew, do you used for saver Ocean Poly 10mm? And what are your experiences with tubing in eye, dont "broken" after using? Thank you, Martin
  21. Oh yes, perfect working, without problems with retrieve trought big rings. My new model will be better, i hope and so much cheaper. Price original TM pulley saver is crazy for me. And my climbing setup:
  22. Good toy store, mate! I like it too
  23. Yes mate, it is my home made saver. I used: Sirius 14mm (produce Teufelberger) double braid clas.1, Tenex 9mm for prusic, sweet Pinto, Edelrid small biner, Petzl rubber protector. And big steel ring from Singing Rocks cambiumsaver. Now i will be made lighter and cheaper model, from 16strand rope without steel ring but with formed eye. Prusic from IceBlue and as pulley i would like try ISC Micro. Or i can made acording to your wish, dont problem. Regards from beatiful hot spring Prague.
  24. I´m satisfied with OP 8mm or Sirius 8mm, knot VT 4/3, my "winter" weight is 92kg. I can´t recomended IceBlue, Imori is soo much soft.
