    Hi Duffryn, I have been following this thread for some time now. I must admit the idea does sound really good, as you say real solution to a real problem. However I have some doubts re the numbers you claim. Is there anybody already using the logpro kiln, so we could chat about kiln usage and numbers in practice rather than theoretical calculations?     Hey, we have a container full of quality netted Kiln dried Ash arriving to country the week on Friday, due to lack of storage, we can only have half of it.     these are 2 metre tall crates (2050x850x1160). Ash is right saying that it equates to around 2.2 cubic metres loose. Our 2.35m tall crates would be around 3m3 loose.

    No offense taken sir. I know that many suppliers had some bad experiences with imported logs. Sometimes its just false expectations, but most of the times its indeed crap they bought. I just get tired of facing this preconception that "all imported logs are rubbish", which is clearly not true. Sorry but I am not giving a list of my customers to anybody lol, but I could give you few names and numbers of our regulars in pm if you wish. will pm you shortly. Dan

    there are others, you did not try yet. If you went the cheapest road, that's what you got. We are definitely not the cheapest importers, but our logs are premium quality. We don't take upfront payments, so you get to see what you buy before you pay. We guarantee the moisture content to be under 25%internal. And kindling is sold as separate item lol. Please don't talk about everybody, until you try everybody. cheers Dan

    Hi Everyone, 28 pallet crates of premium quality Kiln dried Birch available. 2m3 crates, total volume- 56cubic metres of stacked logs (this equates to around 90m3 of loose logs). Moisture content 20% internal. Log length 250mm. Would deliver 31st of January if ordered by 5pm Thursday 24th Jan. Price £175+VAT per crate.
