  1. I've got a transit crew can tipper, taken the rear seats out so I have safe storage for tools. She's 15 years old and going strong. With a some tlc she should last another 5 😜... Hopefully
  2. Only problem I've had with my solo 425 is having to replace the seal. I'd recommend them, very sturdy and comfortable,

  7. apologies to pleasant & like it or lump it, ive not been online in a couple days. i Will mainly be using it for garden lawns but will be switching head to a blade for tougher stuff eg. brambles. thank u to pleasant for your 1st post on this thread, very imformative!!
  8. As title says, im looking to purchase new strimmers so thought i would ask the opinion of you guys. Ive been using a stihl fs400 for past few years and has lasted well, but taking on staff so looking to spend a bit more on equipment. All views greatly appreciated:thumbup:
  9. Give your local council a phone, they should be able to help.Tell them a bit about yourself and they'll send out an application pack for an approved contractors list. fill it in then hopefully you will be invited to tender for contracts:thumbup1:
  10. I mark mine with black permament marker, & also u.v pen which shows up under black light. Plus have a copy of serial nos. on file. even hand tools are marked.
  11. If its a paslode nail gun, then yea u will have some probs in the cold. ive had the same prob this past fortnight.
  12. im with santander, just started in business this year, i can pay in 30 cheques a month before they start to charge which is good cos most jobs are 2 days or more so wont get 30 cheques a month. well not yet anyway:thumbup:

  15. Anyone need help in west scotland? i have 5 1/2 years experience. cs 30, 31. chipper ticket, 360 excavator ticket. my own ppe and transport (transit tipper). im fit healthy and hardworking!
