  5. aye the posch is able to do the neatly stacked bags, although we prefer the random filled bags, it takes less to fill them and they dry out better. I hear what you are saying about preparing the wood, we cut ours 7" long and max 9" diameter, its an extremely slow process, we now call them larch balls because of their rolling abilities
  6. Does anyone have a kindling processor they think a lot of? we have a posch on hire, with two of us working it we are producing about 60 45x65 bags per hour. Thanks.

    Any other firewood sellers considering this scheme, I believe it costs in the region of £370 per annum, and your business is asessed through the Forestry Commission.

  9. Thanks for your advice on value, got it sold this avo and made a small margin on it as well. Will I pass on my profit to the guy I bought it from ? No. Although I do understand there is a dividing line between fair profit and ripoff in any deal.

  11. we have movano and relay tippers, never liked transit, you sit too low in them,cabstar and mitsubushi canter are very bouncy on the roads around here i found.
