  1. I got involved last year, I think you need to be one of the "big boys" to get anywhere. Nothing ever came up for tree work but hedge cutting at councils owned properties. Nothing major.....didn't even get through the first stage of procurement because didn't score enough points!! Glendale got it in end. Best thing I did was to approach them yourself.
  2. cc of the current pump would be a great help. If anyone knows
  3. I've tried them both ways. A size ten out the shed is the best option! Does anyone know what ratio the pump runs at to the kholar engine? I've put a diesel engine on in the kholar engine place, seein as the pump is f@£ked I was going to fit a pump direct to the fly wheel shaft but don't know what would work. I think the rpm of the diesel at full throttle is 2500. But will have to check.
  4. Thanks for the help guys. I got a seal kit from westcon, £125!! Done nothing. When I put the clutch back together the shaft turns fine until I tighten the bolts and you can't turn the shaft without the worlds strongest man present to help. I've had it apart several times and checked I've not missed anything. If I leave a gap approx 1mm it's ok, but soon as I tighten it past that it goes solid.i've left it with a specialist so hopefully they will help but said doesn't look good. Has anyone got any ideas what's wrong. It's as though the cast halves are closing together too much and trapping the gears. It's a gear pump
