  5. Hello mate, good luck with your 31. The key thing is to remember what youv been tought and Take your time. They arent looking for speed at the moment, that will come with experience and time. Theyre looking for accuracy and safety. Im guessing the reason for the change is to do with manual handling. To stop you doing your back in and to prevent repetative stress etc.

  12. I currently live in Hay-on-Wye mid wales but am finding it really hard to find work. I was thinking about moving down to Bournemouth into my cousins flat if things dont start looking up. I have CS30/31,CS38 and am looking to do Cs39 SOON. I am fairly new to the industry as have been working as a freelance outdoor activity instructor and rope access technician for the last 6 years. It is lots of fun but i need something more regular so a career change is in order. I am very hard working, not afraid of long hours and early starts and am always keen to learn. If anyone can help or knows someone who can that would be very much appreciated. Also my cousin has an HGV license and is looking for work as well. Cheers Paul

  21. Hi , Iv put up a few threads here looking for work in and around Herefordshire area. I have my CS30/31 and have booked myself on CS38 in mid June. Iv been working as a climbing instructor and a rope access technician for the past 7 years. Iv been trying to find work for the last 6 months and still nothing. Im just needing a chance to gain some experience from an experienced climber etc. It seems like all the employers out there are looking for people with experience but how am i supposed to gain that without someone giving me a chance. Im sure a lot of the newbies out there are in the same boat as me. Can anyone help or give some advice on someone who can. Im willing to do volunteer work, Im a hard grafter, not afraid of long hours etc and willing to travel as im freelance at the moment and have nothing to tie me down. Cheers guys Paul
