  1. big pto powered, crane fed chipper, needs a 180+ hp tractor I believe
  2. So you guys don't rate me that high then? I'd hoped for a better reaction after this free publicity
  3. C is a higher class then C1(only upto 7.5t) people getting their C1 are usually misinformed as the C test is the same, costs the same but gets you more, so yes, you do get C1 as well. C+E will however cost a vast amount more than B+E.
  4. I'm actually really looking forward to it, and me and my wife are going to recreate our wedding day in minute detail: A lie in, then to the reg office to meet our best man and best friend, got married to Marley then chips in the park with the four of us to celebrate. The wedding night...... we slept!.... Well I did, she had to go and wee every 3 minutes as loaded up with twins. Would anyone like to come and line the streets where I live, you're all welcome
  5. Not criticising you or the fish, but it strikes me as odd that a person such as yourself who advocates the preserving of ecosystems rather than just some elements within them can keep fish and rely on our legendary power supply to keep them alive. There must be something I'm missing (probably rather a lot) but I've never understood why Koi keepers have such amounts of complicated filtration and aeration plant etc when there's a whole ecosystem you could create that would be much more resilient. I do agree it's nice to sit and watch them, for hours some times.
  6. Fantastic work, reciprocal roof is by far the sexiest option! excellent!
  7. wot he said ↑⇑↑ What would be the purpose of using a tank of aspen once a month? I know it burns cleaner, but does it clean engines too?

  11. My neighbours have a horsechestnut, dbh about 175 cm in a parkland setting, so it's quite low. At some time in the past it's had a big branch come off the main trunk, right where the other branches branch off. There's three big branches left, and two of them at pretty much right angles to the trunk. The wound from the broken branch is rotting down the centre of the tree, but I've seen no sign of other decay around it. There is an odd spot on one off the big branches that looks a bit fungal but it's about 5 metres away from the trunk. Any suggestions on future management?

  18. There's a double bed, a single and a bunk-bed, so four or five. I rented it when the outlaws came to stay over the easter weekend and got charged £60 for one night, but I can't guarantee anything as they normally only rent it out to "Jaguar Enthousiast Club" members, and we all know what they get up to:lol:
  19. I did warm you I'm a pedantic git. It stems from being foreign, I've lived in the UK since 2004 and had a steep learning curve, this means I'm probably more acutely aware of the language I use, hear and read. Also, did I mention I'm rather pedantic?
  20. Capitals are really only to be used at the beginning of a sentence or a name. We cover all areas of Yorkshire, and beyond for Commercial clients, and are able to undertake Site Clearances, Maintenance, Estate and Park works using our fully Insured, experienced and dedicated team of Arborists. Please contact us for firm Quotations to undertake your contract and sub-contracting works with a guaranteed start and finish date. "
  21. Since you ask.... it does seem a bit trigger happy With The Good Old Shift Button...
  22. All right then. Please know that people who know me tend to refer to me as "that moody pedantic old git" so don't be offended. On the bottom of each page, the "l" in "Guisely" and "tel" looks to be of a different font? On the "Commercial" page : ...Site Clearances, Maintenance, Estate and Parks works using our fully Insured...... Roadside Works, Parks & Estates Maintenance , Site Clearances - all in a day’s work On the "tree reports" page: a tool for the management and maintenance of (an?) estates tree stock and larger gardens "carried out" in "Tree hazard assessment" is partially blocked by the picture below it (that may be due to my computer's settings but I've no similar issues elsewhere) On the "contact" page you list "reasonable cost" wich to me means "a considerable amount of money" ie not qauntifiable but quite expensive. Really like the general look of the site, good colour scheme makes it easy to read and it's clear, concise and easy to navigate. As I said to begin with, I'm a pedantic git......Daniel
  23. The cottage is about £120 for a weekend I believe, but I may be able to fidddle a discount for just the one night. The yurts are basic, but feature woodburners and are only mildly off-road, well within sight of my kitchen window, so I can positively assure you that a hot shower is within the possibilities we won't need any payment for them, but a little advise on my new home (since july). I've planted 2Ha of trees this winter and we have a small spinney with about 20-30 mature oaks in wich I might like to reduce in numbers, or not....? Having an expert panel on site would be renumeration aplenty.
  24. Just wondering if anybody knows ought about him/them. I have some unfinished bussiness with him and wondered if there's no reply to my comms because I'm annoying or wether he'd fallen ill or he's trying to avoid my invoice.
  25. As per title really, Coppice and Woodland Produce I've been getting some stakes and binders from him and have a small issue that I need sorting but he's not replied to any comms for over a month wich is not in line with the bussiness we've had in the past. So just wondered on general opinions on them, or if he's ok? Thanks, Daniel
