  1. Hi Blaisy, yes that's me! Not worked out what to make with it, not sure whether it will be durable outside. It is a softwood I suppose. the knots are great. When you get three or more across the trunk they look really good. Interesting the base of the tree was darker
  2. yes some logs, but not the planks in the picture
  3. Milled some monkey puzzle, 20-24".. The bigger sections still to mill, and the smaller sections hoping to sell for turning.

  15. Hi all, What is standing timber going for. Ash and sycamore thinnings 4-12" diameter. Per tonne or m3? thank you
  16. Found Holm oak to be very dense and hard to mill
  17. Thank you. Even trimmed down to 7ft still a big lump. Just sorting out transport. When it goes to the mill I will take some pics.
  18. Thanks Simon for cutting the oak today, I have a manageable, and hopefully liftable 7ft section, still a good 6 tonne though!
