Now it's always hard to gauge what to say as the best man, theres a whole range of people of people here today, grandparents, parents, in laws, friends ect. So I thought would be safest if I was to try and offer the bride and groom some advice, I had thought the best way to do this was to share some experiences from my own marriage...........then I remembered that this is supposed to be a happy and positive occasion.....

It puzzled me for a long time, and like others i had a huge chip on my shoulder for a long time, in reference to the way i was brought up and about people in the church that acted in certain ways. I glad to say i have matured and realised that i need to focus on me and my relationship with God, not on how other "Christians" are living. Its not a case of manipulating it at all, its about looking at the background of each text, the time and culture in which it was written, and looking at it in it original language. Sadly some Christians do manipulate it, however so do unbelievers. I would like to pose this question if God is what some people are suggesting they why would he send his son to die for us?

I can tell you why, my younger brother matt called me and during the conversation said it's interesting there is a guy on at talk with a bible verse on his avatar, I wonder if he's a Christian so I said why don't you start a thread to find out if there is other Christians on the forum.........funny how a simple thought can turn into what this thread has become.....

Sorry that was not my intention just a bit feed up with all the questions from people who IMO just want a rant, and who are tryin to trap people, I know he loves me cause he gave his son for me, and I see his power in mine and others life's. I could ask you awkward questions but to b honest I cant see any profit in it, over and out

Carbon dating can be out by up to 3million years.There is lots of information on the internet covering these question if your are genuinely interested I suggest you go and look some of them up. As Im online now for a bit..........I'm off to worship....
