  2. thanks, no never done a bowl before, (dont have a lathe) although a could probly make one without it, yeah im goin to carrbridge this year again, are you goin to ?

  4. av not done any abstract yet so thot ad better give it a bash
  5. av started usin the ms150c with a 12" bar and .043 micro chain, and as a husqvarna man i must admit its agreat wee saw for good detail work
  6. i use a worx jawhorse, its got a great grip, and well balanced
  7. use boiled linseed oil, its half the price of decking oil and does the same job, they use it on log cabins

  11. i have just bought another husqvarna 135, for my 14" carving bar, i have a 12" bar on the other 135, they are great little saws and great value for money
  12. dremel, die grinder, angle grinder with sanding pads, are great tools for finer detail
  13. dremel the eyes, then use a blow torch with a fine nozzle
  14. really enjoyed carving this one
  15. did these pheasants last month
  16. dremel with a pointy cutting piece, or cone cutter bit, or a 6mm flat chisel, die grinders are good but a bit powerfull for real detailed work
  17. his work has been a big inspiration to me to get into carving, the detail and form of his sculptures are brilliant
