  7. Small busy tree surgery firm in bucks looking for climbers and grounds men, grounds men should have a minimum of CS30 and 31 and have the will to work hard, experienced climbers to do everything from reductions to big dismantles to Connie bashing, Contact Greg O'callaghan on 07767795883 for more information. 8. I'd rather ring up 8 inch diameter logs with a 201 than an 088 (which is allowed) Nobody said buy and 88, they said buy a sensible ground saw you can use on the ground and in the tree, it is up to a£2000 fine if caught using a top handle on the ground and his dad won't be able to buy one from most dealers without producing a 39 ticket, Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Nothing in this industry is law, but in regards to afag guidelines, hse, p.u.w.e.r and other acts state training and correct certification. The fact is weather it is "by law" or not dealers are not supposed to supply them without a ticket. It will not stop people getting there hands on them obviously Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Dealers arnt supposed to hand them over without proof of 39 ect, some do but there not supposed to, Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. pointed the 560xp at this tall pop this afternoon and it just fell over,
  12. my 576xp pulls the mill well (same size as a 460) for milling smaller peices, i think a combo of a mini mill and a 30" alaskan would be ideal,
  13. Have herd it's up to a £2000 fine if caught using one on the ground by the wrong people, my advice, wait till you 'need' one, there is other kit you could need befor a topper, if u buy a ground saw you can use it as a ground saw or a climbing saw, Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Would think a 30" Alaskan would do, you can alway purchase the bigger rails if you do get a bigger saw Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. And 19" inch is still a decent board, if you bought the mini mill to take the sides of you can mill bigger diameter wood to get it to 19 wide Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. I went for a slightly bigger mill as you can adjust it to fit your saw, the 30" Alaskan and a mini mill make a good combo, I originally only had a 576xp with a 24" bar but now have a Makita 9010 with a 30" so I went for the 36" Alaskan mill. Hope this helps buddy, feel free to pm me or 'rob d' is the bloke to talk to Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. When I first used the 201 I couldn't see what everyone's beef was with it, untill I started chogging down a cherry, guttless, soon asked for the 346 to be sent up. Yet with the 200t you will use it untill you couldn't befor you asked for a bigger saw, The 540xp is where it is at in terms of the best Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. The training firm should supply them if you don't have 1, you can't buy a top handled saw without tickets, Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Husky t540xp, but do you have a ticket? Might be hard to buy if you don't. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Good vid, an Eaisier way to take the chain break off is to push it off using the handle, although the casing will not fit on as the break is on if you push the top bit on the chain break handle you can pull the handle to release the chain break, next time I take the side plate of il do a video as I can't really describe it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
