  10. i have a silver sided husky 346xp, i have just been on clarks forestry and seen they do 8 and 9 pin sprokets,,, what changes for i need to make to run an 8 pin sproket with a 15 inch bar? or could i run it with a 9 pin? would i need a bigger chain?

  12. from my house to moulton collage is about 46 miles which i have to do once a week, my house to the felling site is about 36 but most of it was dual carrage way which wernt to bad, and ahh, think when i have my tickets am gona look for abit of felling work

  15. unsure, it had to be cut to 2.4 meters and stacked so i assume either timber or pulp, i did it throught moulton collage and the site was salcey forest in northampton

  20. hi there everyone, i have 2 years experiance working as a groundie for a local firm, work is quite atm as is for every one but im almost at an empty diary. i have just completed my cs30/31 training (forestry based) and have my assesment on the 27th. i have a first aid certificate and my own saw, i am happy to take work in the forestry side of things as a trainie faller, or work as a labourer for tree work, i live in buckinghamshire but will travel to milton keynes, northampton, oxfordshire, and some of bedfordshire contact me 07515337992 [email protected]
  21. agreed but they are now a requirement to inexperianced opratives. the idea is if the saw kicks and ur front hand slips of the handle the glove will protect ur hand a little
  22. the hse requirements are now that any one under training or a beginer must have chainsaw gloves
  23. you also need a bag of chocker holes
  24. most places have all the kit for you to use mate so i wouldnt worry,, im doing mine this week and tomos is my last day,,, infact il post up some pics in abit, if ur buying kit u also need a forestry tape measure and pair of tongs or a pulp hook
