  1. Nope can't be attached mid line but if you only got a short land yard then it doesn't take long to feed the rope threw.
  2. If your heavy and struggle to pull your weight then the hand over hand method will be tough you can still thrust using both hands on the rope at once like you would on a prussik. Once you get the nak of that you can do 3 thrusts hold yourself then tend the slack.
  3. It's gr8 mate so smooth and it's realy small. Cost me 92 inc vat.sort out that rec climb and you can check it out:-)
  4. Takes as long as you take to get familiar with it it's all about thumb controll just keep using it and it will all come together. Are you using a friction saver?
  5. Got myself a positioner 2 today and it is one slick piece of kit I highly recommend it.
  6. Can you get smooth adjustments with it when using as a secondary anchor or is it jumpy?
  7. Money! But I don't see why because they can make a job so much easier.
  8. On the lock jack there is no brake but you can hold the toggle whilst having a couple of fingers around your line to help control descent. The spider jack is much easier to control on descent. They are both as good as each other. I used to climb on hc but ever since I got my sj I would never look back. Had mine a year and not done a cam yet.
